Everything about Matt is better in Velvet Revolver.

His hair, his drumming, his contribution to the band (he basically created all the music for Set Me Free).

I thought he was a bit of a tool in GnR and that his drumming didn't really fit with the band. But he's one of the best things about Velvet Revolver and Contraband.

You must admit it looks much better than his poodle perm long hair though. :hihi:

I thought the coolest Matt looked was in him and Duff's Neurotic Outsiders days in 1996.

I once saw him with glasses (not shades). It was back in '99...anyone remember a VH1 show called "The List". That was my favorite tv show then...anyway, they had him as a guest, Lars Ulrich was hosting the show that week I think and Matt had even shorter hair and wore glasses.

On a side note, The topic for that particular show was "bands you will like to see comeback"....There's no need to say GNR won that one  : ok:

Matt's hair was terrible looking, I didn't like him at all when he joined GnR, I thought he looked and sounded a bit gay. He still sounds gay but he plays fucking great!
