Title: Cities You'd Like to See on the Next Leg of the Tour Post by: kyrie on November 28, 2006, 08:02:26 PM So I'm hearing a lot of "wah they canceled a show" from people who weren't even going to Milwaukee, and who probably haven't been to a show period (if you had, you'd probably notice Axl keeping a box of snotrags onstage and honking into 'em between songs).
So how about something different? What cities should GNR hit on the next leg of the tour? Personally i'd rather see Dolphins Stadium (easier for me to get to), but with like 70,000 seats, that far too big of a venue. They played it in '91, but that was a long time ago when they ruled the world. Chicago of course but I would like them to play during the summer at the new outdoor stadium located downtown - can't believe I can't think of the name right now - I think it's Charter One Pavillion - you can go to the back of the Pavillion and hear all the bands that play there for free on the beach - just can't see them - but the sound and atmosphere is incredible. I've been to a couple shows there.
I'd also like to see them at Summerfest, imagine seeing bands all day, then topping off with the Gunners! And actually, Mexico or Jamaica, which I would travel and have myself a nice vacation too!
