what do you think of it? he's got long blonde dreads/braids/ponytails/notquitesure.
he's also wearing a black trenchcoat and a russian fur hat. besides the hair, i like it.

Sounds cool (and great photo of the hat)... I remember at Hammerstein thinking BBF needed to "rock star up" his look a little bit... he looked like any of the 35+ yr. old metal heads in the front row with a mullet and 3 sizes too small AFD t-shirts from '87 on.:hihi:

I don't remember him being blonde... he seemed to have dark hair from what I saw.

I got a chuckle out of the cossack look he's pulling off. Surprised that he doesn't pass out from dehydration, wearing that fur hat and trench coat under those stage lights.

He also had his facial hair shaved pretty crazy in Detroit on Saturday.  You could only see it when he looked up, but under his chin there was a weird shaved pattern that looked like two crescent moons.

It's actually a face that's shaved in under his chin... Just a basic face.

I'm not a fan of the new look though but looks don't really matter to me as long as he gets the job done. 

I was gonna say....from reading through BBF's site and looking at old pics of him it seems he has always experimented with his look and gone against the norm....

Love Ron as a nice guy.   Very, very good guitarist.    But his look and stage presence aren't that great.   Part of me thinks "who cares, it's about the music."  But, then again, at a live show you are going for a performance too.  Axl, Fink, Fortus, and, to some extent, Stinson, really know how to put on a show.  Ron less so - but he will get better.

I just don't think he has a lot of arena show experience and it shows a bit.? Maybe makes him more endearing.
