I may bump this thread on December 19th again... but for now... umm I'm thankful for all the things a normal person should be thankful for. And then for this board, I'm thankful for Guns being active again.

My recent two week trip to North America.

Amazing experience.

I met some of you there. Thanks for coming out to the pre-shows and also thanks to those who just came up to say "hello" at the venues.

It was nice meeting you all.

Thankful for being able to see GNR twice and meeting my favorite member, Ron. 
Hell, I'm thankful for GNR 2006. They've made this year soooo much more exciting than it would have been.

'better' is stuck in my head for three days now.

I'm thankful for the normal things (family, friends, health, blah,blah,blah).

I'm thankful that I'll be seeing Guns N Roses again on Monday in Chicago. I'm thankful that we got a few new tunes to jam on too.

im thankful for May 12th being my first concert. and i'm thankful for being able to see gnr 3 times in a single year

Thankful for IRS, Better, Catcher in the Rye, The Blues, Chinese Democracy, Madagascar, Silkworms and There Was A Time!  : ok:

for having the opportunity to see GNR several times this year..and the fact that the album seems to be close to actually coming out.....all is good in the world of GNR right now....

In the GNR world: Seeing them twice this year, the leaks and hopefully the album within the coming weeks.

In the regular world: My son, my wife, my band and my friends.

That I got to see GNR in Toronto!!! :drool: Again!!!

Also thankful that I broke my collarbone, as opposed to my neck, riding my dirt-bike!!! :nervous: : ok: :confused: :beer:

Kinda' wrecked my ability to see GNR and totally rock-out but hey, at least I'm still alive and made it to the show. I still rocked-out but, in a very painful way. ;D

That was a close call and I would've been super-pissed-off if I missed it after such a long wait. :rant:

Getting tickets to see GNR on Satuday FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!!

as far as GNR is concerned, I'm grateful for the leaks and the 5 gigs I was fortunate enough to attend this year

I'm thankful to this board for keeping us informed and to the fellow board members and loons for entertaining me.
I'm thankful to the band for giving the great new songs, every intense gig, uplift and the great cares of the fans.

tickets.com fucking up and not sending the tickets too England in time causing several trips to the Will Call center and an eventual distribution of tickets at 7.00pm.

And i am being serious if that hadnt of happened my night would not of been as much fun as it was :hihi:

I am also thankful for Jarmo and this board and getting so close to Axl at the Joint that I could see what kind of jeans he wears.

For having seen GN'R again this summer after waiting for 13 years!!! and it was even better then in '93 : ok:, and I'm thankful that the long wait for CD is over or should I replace thankful for hopeful ;D

Regardless of the album's release, I'm greatful they came back out and played all these shows and made you guys all very happy.

Oh yeah, and regardless of what's been said and done, thanks alot to Jarmo and everybody else involved in providing us with this forum to use. It's been an ongoing joy in my life to come back here and smile, laugh, and cry with you all over the year, from the day the new songs leaked, to the confirmation of the tour news, to the minute before they hit the stage at the first Hammerstein show, through all the shows and updates, "Down on the Farm", the surge in rumours and speculation, the Rolling Stone Article, right through to where we are now.

Anyway....

I'm extremely grateful that I was able to get a good paying job and save money just in time for GNR to come back.  Never before in my life would I have the money and freedom to go to NYC for a week for the 4 Hammerstein shows.  And then I went to Worcester and MSG.  To make it even better, going to these shows and making these trips didn't bankrupt me.  This is a total dream come true for me  :yes:  : ok:


So Thank You GNR for choosing this year to come back and tour.  Thank you HTGTH for being here and giving me a place to keep up on the insanity that is the world of GNR.  Looking forward to more great things to come  :peace:

I'm thankful for having a chance to see Guns N' Roses for the 8th time friday this year.  :beer: 

got to see gnr in worchester at the last second out of the blue. i'm pretty thankful for that.

For 16 seconds titled "Checkmate".

I'm thankful that I'm healthy enough to work, and that I have a job that pays me enough to keep a roof over my head, food in my belly, clothes on my back, my car on the road...  And to finally see GNR in concert in Baltimore earlier this month.

I'm also thankful to have friends and acquaintances, online and off, to share GNR and all manner of other good things with.

Finally, I'm thankful for my best friend -- my cat -- even though she doesn't care much about GNR one way or another.

msaxl43 is greatful for this beautiful day spent with family I truely love, and not to mention the great feast that we shared together, I am also thankfor for love, life, health, and happiness, and the mighty Lord above who watches over me daily, and guides me when I sometimes can't guide myself.  I am thankful for Here Today Gone To Hell, and I realized that more than anything within the last 24 hours due to the fact I was having a small issue with my new computer and email, and I 86'd myself right out of the sight, I really felt very lost without it.  I don't always have alot to say everyday, but I am always here checking out what the rest of you all are conversing about.  I must say Happy Thanksgiving to all of you out there, wherever you may be, and also to my favorite Rock n Roll God "Axl Rose".

going to hammersteins in may.it was just soooo much fun.but meeting axl would have made that night.i wouldn't mind haven a few drinks with that man really.he seems fun and fun i like.
