Here Today... Gone To Hell!

What are the best versions of The Blues and Madagascar? ?I heard there are "studio" versions, but they are really just remastered live versions... Does anyone have those? ?The only version of the Blues that I can find is the one where they fuck up and Axl goes, "ok...nevermind!" ?And the only version of Madagascar I can find is the one where it starts out with Axl saying..."Ok, this is a new song (gets translated by the traslator chick)." ?And he fucks up some vocals cuz he's running around... ?:)

The two that you can find are both from Rio 2001.  The versions that some try to pass off as studio I think are from Boston 2002.  I'm sure someone can help you out with those.  I prefer the 2006 versions though because they are updated in a few ways and are probably closer to what the studio versions will actually be like.

i'm not sure what show these are from.. but i think the sound quality is the closest to studio that i have hear.. they are all 02 versions.  The blues, maddy and Rhiad...were all done my Imsorry and cd was done by epwchill.  the blues, maddy and cd are pretty darn close to studio quality.. and rhiad is very well done considering it was taken from a audience recording.  i know rhiad is from vegas..  i think the blues is from Pitt and Maddy is from cleveland.. not really sure though..

There seems to be a problem with YSI at the moment, I have had the same thing happen to several other downloads from there in the last two days.

Try them on http://www.megaupload.com/ have had no problems when downloading the same file from there.

My favourite versions is The Blues from Boston 2002 and Madagascar from Cleveland 2002.

The fake Blues studio is lousy - double tracked vocals. It really sucks.

Thanks!  But two things...  The songs you gave us links to aren't complete, and does anyone have a good version of Madagascar that doesn't have the "ok, nevermind" part in it?  :)  I mean, I've heard the good versions before, but now I can't find them anywhere!  And I wanna download them so my girlfriend can hear them before we see them here in Milwaukee!  :beer:

The Blues From Rio 2001 has "Ok nevermind" in it, not Madagascar.
