First of all, while Bumblefoot is on tour, his webmaster is responding to his emails.

Second of all, those emails should be private, but if people really wanted them to be posted they can. Don't ask for people to share their private emails. If you want to see them, sign up for myspace and shoot him a message.

I dont do myspace, and I dont feel like bugging the pore guy,

Also, you can't send him Myspace messages at the moment because his status is set to "Away". :)

hey, I never asked anyone to send anything to him.
but if they already sent it, and got some response, it would be a waste of resources to keep it to them sealves.
it's like taking leftovers :D

What Ron writes to people in private messages should remain so, just because they posted what he wrote doesn't mean they should have done. I suspect he's already been warned about being too open with fans. This is a critical time for GNR any emails from band members won't say anything useful album related anyway, and anything else they do say isn't really our business.

I never tought that he'd be mailing the relase dates, or something like that.

but his opinion on the way tour is going, canceled show, fire marshals,
new guitars, new opening bands,...
etc.etc.
not top secret crap....

No fair enough we do get some good tidbits sometimes, I'm just not a big fan of people posting private emails from band members on a forum like this, it can be useful sure but I can see it getting them in trouble one day and it get to a stage where they won't do it anymore because management has stopped them, which isn't really what anybody wants.

where are the bumblefoot emails?!

To answer your question. They are in Ron's "Sent" box and in people's "In Boxes" :)

I agree, private correspondence should remain that way, regardless of the content. Or just add, "can I copy this for the guys on HTGTH?" at the bottom of your email. BBF is a great guy and terrific with fans - I'd hate for that to have to stop because someone posts something they shouldn't. Trust and courtesy work both ways.

He was pretty much saying "I'd say something insulting to you but I dont want to get a karma point so just pretend I just told you off"

 : ok:

And i was being sarcastic with the whole p0wned thing.

Can't say he didn't try to "own" me.

Failed miserably.

Its like being "owned" by someone, but the word PWNED is used my gamer nerds.  :hihi:

Quote
The verb to pwn (past tense: pwned, pwnd, pwn'd, pwnt, pooned) as used by the Internet gaming subculture, means to beat or dominate an opponent. While it probably originated as a typing error of the word own, it is now used intentionally by many members of the subculture. The term has become so ubiquitous in Internet circles that it is often used outside of gaming contexts; for example, "He just got pwned in that debate" or "The hunters pwned that bear."

Hey I think I figured out where the gaming word came from. Isn't there a smily where you use a "P"?

So like,  :PWNED is it?

:P WNED ?

I think the first person who typed it just made a silly typo.  :hihi:

You don't think? The actual smiley (tounge out) IS the one you might use to stick in someone's face when you beat them. Then if someone is copying/pasting text or quoting from a bb, it's bound to show up somewhere as :PWNED

?
:PWNED
:P WNED
