Here Today... Gone To Hell!

I don't know if you have noticed that aswell, but during the heavy part of "better", you can hear a new kick ass keyboard effect in the mix, I believe it's something coming from Chris Pittman. It's not on the demo, it's new, it's on some Live versions, and it really really sounds awesome. It sounds a little bit like a part of the song "smoking" from Boston.

Listen carrefully and you will hear it. I heard that same keyboard effect on the MSG'06 version on Youtube.
I hope they will keep it on the album. It sounds like.. I don't know... like Ennio Morricone or something. the sound is like "hiihaaaa".

That keyboard effect is in the demo, its just way in the background. I've heard it a long time ago. You can hear it good when you listen with headphones.  : ok:

I think i know what ur talking about.... In the You tube version of Black Sheep Harley Davidson The better soundtrack sound amazing I dont know if its a newer version or a more pumped up one but its definitly stronger in vocals

well, the guy worked with Tool, so he is obviously talented. I guess he is more a studio guy than a Live guy. Live, his sounds are lost in the mix most of the time, but I'm sure he can do a kick-ass job in studio.

Yeah, it was always there. I heard this fx in almost every bootleg...

I heard this effect first in the RIR bootleg in may cuz the sound mix was so bad and all you could hear in Better was Pittman's keyboards hehee!

and then I realized it was always in the demo as well.. since then I always hear that effect.. you guys are lil bit slow haha

Thanks. I'll now consider myself a hater cause I don't think Better or the UNHEARD Chinese Democracy will be as good or this century's Dark Side of the Moon. Maybe if you listened to that album you would see how far up the ass of Guns N' Roses you are.  Can anyone else really compare fucking demos and live versions of a song to one of the best albums of rock history? When those said demos and live tracks aren't even the band's best work that we have heard. Oh I know tho but I am a hater so I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Love this song !!  Hope they give it a thick heavy riff when they mix the sound for the studio version.
