Who says anyones gonna be gone? When was the limit set at three acts? Bach is gone from the Halifax show, otherwise both Bach and Suicide Girls are set to be at all the shows.

I saw Die Mannequin last week in a small club and they fucking ROCKED.

In a big venue I don't know how they do, I don't see the lead singer/guitarist mingling with the crowd and climbing up on the bar somehow.

But a great show - VERY rock and roll.

Does that mean Halifax is still gonna get another opener to make up for Bach since Die Mannequin is doing other shows too? I dunno about others but I don't like the looks of this , but I haven't finished listening to a whole song yet though.

Well that's cool. Suicide girls can probably perform between the LONG wait between guns and Die Mannequin, they probably don't have much equipment since they're doing the berlesque act.

They sound ok from their myspace page, and I'm all for GNR taking out some homegrown talent. If we're getting two opening bands (Bach and DM) *and* Suicide Girls, then I'm very happy, definitely getting my money's worth, and much better than what I had to sit through in 2002 (I'm a beastie boys fan, I've seen them live, but Mix Master Mike was horrid).

  can't explain too well i guess...the perfect example is Metric, which is a band that sounds and looks so plainly apathetic that it reeks of arrogance...
  it's more than playing the angry teenager...it's worse actually, it's playing the angry young adult (much more dangerous conceptually and practically)...BUT, i never said i didn't like their music...the songs on the MySpace page were quite good actually.

  and as another off-topic P.S., i personally loved MixMaster Mike last time...felt like a fresh take on Turntableism
