We all know that Axl performed Live And Let Die at the Michael J. Fox benefit concert. he was then interviewed regarding his presence there by People Magazine. Here's what he said :

Madagascar is a great song.. but.. I was kinda expecting it to be a b-side, honestly. Bring on TWAT and The Blues, baby! :peace:

I knew we would get Madagascar on the album, but I wasn't sure if we would get the movie quotes. Glad this confirms it :)

Maybe he has other quotes from Casualties of War in a Big Gun, and Madagascar has to be dropped to make room for this new song.  :hihi:

God i cant wait for this album.

I think some of us forget how incredible madagascar is simply cause we have listened to it for so many years.

I still think its one of the greatest GNR songs ever.

thats great news. i was starting to have doubts cuz they havent been playing it at all during the North American Tour after playing it at Hammerstein and all across Europe.

You know whats funny? I've always thought that too. I don't know why but it makes the song soung like less of a good song.

Madagascar is incredible and it's one of the tracks I'm most eagerly awaiting hearing the studio version of.  I get shivers every time I hear it.
