Ha, come to Central, Pennsylvania and like 90% of dudes chew that shit.? Their teeth are all yellow and their breath smells like they just chomped down a giant turd.? I absolutely fathom talking to someone who chews.? I'm in no way preaching about the dangers of it....just the sanitary measures.  AND the absolute worst thing about it is that the people carry around their "spitter" which is basically any cup or plastic bottle they find, in which they spit into and they'll just leave it right there in plain view.  That's the last thing I want to see, someone's collection of tobacco and spit they've been saving up all day.

in sweden "snus" is very popular, almost a tradition, haha ok, not a tradition, but it is at least as "big" as cigarettes

I don't dip, rub or snuff anymore, but when I did nothing was finer than Copenhagen.  I had my first dip when I was 13 and was hooked for a few years.  I eventually traded up to marlboro reds, but have quit those as well now too.  I'm not one to preach, but nothing good comes from using tobacco.  I'm still having a a hell of time completely quiting smoking.  Now that I'm older, I don't understand why someone would make a conscience choice to use something that is dangerous and reap no rewards.  The same can be said about alcohol, but at least it's not addictive and can be used in moderation.

If you have never chewed snuff, you'll get a tremendous high off of it-I tried it-I'm not a smoker but cigarettes never did that for me-it eventually wears off after a while, but it can be addictive-my brother chewed in the service when you weren't able to smoke-it's just as dangerous as cigarettes-be careful.

I need to quit, which is why I made this thread, I knew I would get flamed for it....need all the motivation I can get.? Interesting how I got hooked.? About 3 years ago, my wife, then girlfriend, tried to quit smoking.? She got the whole package, the patches, the gum, etc....she didn't like the gum. For shits, I started chomping on the gum.? Boy did I get a buzz.? I had tried smoking, chew/snuff prior, but it didn't do anything for me, but I really liked the gum.? So, after about 60+ pieces of nicotine gum, I moved on to snuff to "quit" the gum, since I had tried snuff in the past i couldnt stand it, figured that would get me off of it...that didn't work well.....It also doesn't help that I am the boss at work and I don't have anyone telling me I can't do it in the office....

i think the reason why many people use snuff to quit smoking is because it's a lot more nicotine in snuff then cigarettes, don't know if the other way around works

Norway too, Ive been using the shit for 9 years. quit now that Ive moved to Brussels though.
General is the main thing people, screw Copenhagen it sucks. it's strong as a batch, but it's impossible to put in the lip and it stinks like hell.

I have never heard of any case of anyone ever getting cancer because of snus.

we don't have that in the civilized country i live in.
