for what its worth in the uk you can send a txt messege to AQA and they have the answer based on fact.....ask any question and its not wrong.3 times iv txt and my friends have also done it to see what the answer is for CD coming out and they say its due for release on NOV 21

November 28th release list has the fewest or none big albums coming out. November 21th is very crowded with big name releases.

Merck even said they could release it without an announcement, so obviously they are going to wait until last minute to announce it.

I think you should stop dreaming. It's not 1991 anymore, GN'R is not the biggest band in the world anymore. This album needs promotion like any other album in the world. The market is difficult nowadays, even for GN'R.  And while the internet is a good "free" promotion tool, it's still not enough. You can't count just on the internet.
Internet is part of the equation, but it's not the equation.

If it is slated for 11-28, I think it will show up on shelves on Black Friday, the 24th of November.

Keep living in your dream world. Axl doesnt care about fame and shit. He's doing this album because he wants to. If he wanted money and fame this thing would have been out a long time ago. Its not gonna be heavily promoted so go cry in your pillow and when you finally realize that, then come back here. It will be released with an announcement no more than two weeks before, if that.

let's not kod ourselves about the ax-man's ego...he may not be as self-indulgent and self-obsessed as he once was, but you're crazy if you think he doesn't want serious praise for this album, or that he's doing this ONLY to release a killer album.  that's part of his charm, eh?  the ego and the goods to back up that ego.

Yep thats why everyone thinks this album is a joke in the industry. Not my opinion, theirs. If Axl really cared then he would have done something about it a long time ago. Like I said earlier, Axl just wants to make the best album he can, that he enjoys. All he cares about is the music, not the money, not the fame. It would have been out long ago if thats what it was about. Better yet, if it was about money and fame the old band reunite.

but for the old band to reunite they have to get along first...it isn't only about axl not wanting to work together again.

also, i think axl would have released the album way back when but he realized that it, and they, just weren't ready yet.  i was just watching rio de janeiro 2001, and they were honestly not good--everyone fucked up royally.  but i think if they had been ready then, he would have dropped CD.

I believe the album isn't out yet not because of your bollocks, but just because it was not ready. If you think Axl doesn't care to be successfull, man, you are wrong. Everybody wants to be successfull, it's in the nature of human beeings. It's normal. And it has nothing to do with money or fame, it's just if you are a bit normal you are more happy when things are successfull and done right than when they fail and done wrong. Axl, you, me, everybody. Do you prefer to succeed or to fail?

Money and fame are NOT an object.  He just wants a good album, and when he thinks its good enough it'll come out.  That time is now..so we'll see it soon.  The question is November or December..were gettin down to the wire.  Just have to keep "WAITING".

Are you Axl Rose? No? Then you don't know shit about what Axl thinks, cares about, or his motivation. You also don't know when the album is coming out, or how this album is going to be promoted, so please stop stating your opinions as if they were facts. If they are facts, back them up with sources.

                 I would really love to see a concert DVD combo with the CD if it ever comes out. How shocking would that be if it did come out on November 24th ( Black Friday) as a shock ? Then G'n'R could release the video or single to sell the album I suppose.

I never said I knew when the album was coming out so jab it, dont put fuckin words in my mouth. I'm just going by what Merck said in the Rolling Stone article. They say the album will be out by the end of the year, thats 2 months. You think that if there was going to be heavy promotion it would have started all ready. All I am going is by Axl and Merck's past qoutes to base my opinion off of.

Nov. 21 is a Tuesday.  Albums come out on Mondays in the UK.

Not if they hold it back one day in the UK so the album doesnt leak online a day  before its released in the states

whatever the case may be, i think we should all enjoy the next 6 weeks...because for alot of us...this time right now has been a long time commin....I never in a million years thought in 1997 when Kurt Loder did that MTV news "wheres Axl" special, that I would be sitting here in 2006 still waiting for the record...I am enjoying every minute of this right now, and every single rumor....everyone that is important in the Guns camp said its coming out this year...so lets just wait....All i know is that it is going to be really weird after it comes out and im not checking the internet everyday for news on the follow up to Use your illusion anymore....
