Slash solos were a lot of times crap, but people have forgotten that, I went to a show in 1993 where he fucked up Sweet Child of Mine and Godfather. Some people are complaining about Finck, but I think he does a good Job.  : ok:

Wow, Axl sounded like shit there.  The solo wasn't good, but it was better than Axl's performance.  I'm glad he doesn't sound like that now.  His voice is so much better now IMO.

DUDE, slash broke a string during the solo, thats why he turned around. OPEN YOUR EYES before u insult one of the greatest guitarists of all time man!

being on stage, playing, and a string breaks f-ckin sucks. it totally throws you off, and you're unsure of what to do for a split-second, until you realize u gotta play it off and do the best you can without that string.

Yeah he broke a string but he was playing very sloppy before it happened.  I love Slash but he was known, in fact, the band as a whole, were known for being pretty sloppy. :yes: :peace:

Yeah don't turn it into a HATE Slash thread.  Slash is one of the biggest reasons your a fan today.  SLASH ROCKS and thats all there is to it.  But so does BUCKETHEAD, big deal, GN'R is what it is today so support it and be glad GN'R isn't dead.

you can't say that for sure, maybe i heard izzy's solo records first then heard he was in a band called guns n roses and started listen to them or something else, now that may not be what realy happened but you don't know that for sure

That looks possible, or it kinda looks like the video has its frame speed changed. I'm not great at technical video stuff, but I know that if you reduce the frames per second (like from 32 to 16) then motion that was moving fast will look like it "jumps." Given that the audio matches the video, and the audio doesn't sound sped up, I'd say it's likely a change in frame speed.

but dude, regardless of how u got turned onto GNR, Slash is a reason why GNR exploded and existed. Take Slash out, they might never have made it. They had all the right parts, at the right time, with the right songs, and the right singer. ANYWAY...

GN'R without Axl Rose, I can guarantee you wouldn't have succeeded the way it did.

yeah might is def. the key word, ok if i say it like this, if in the 80's axl and izzy would have started one band and that band were succesful and slash and duff started an equally succesful band at the same time, and those 2 bands were still around today i know i would have liked the axl-izzy band way more then i would have liked the slash-duff band

I think the tape is speed up...But still Sometimes Slash drank a bottle to mutch before stage..And despite that Axl drank T? with honey before every gig..his voice is really fucked sometimes...Tokyo 1992 is not good...But still, the fans loved them and look at the sales  :beer:

And i will say that some people around here is taking this too fkn hard...Both Slash and Finck are professionals  :peace:
