Scott Ian's fianc?e put on a blog recently that GN'R would possibly be at Retox in November for a special show.

isnt bach supposed to hang out at some club with ian tonight?

Yes. Ian talked about it with Eddie Trunk. Another member of Antrax will be there as willl some members of Bach's band. They will be performing acoustic sets and also electric he said probably. I'm sure Axl will be there, almost a guarentee. I wonder if GNR will do something...

Iwona (if I spell that right) posted earlier that she was gonna be there.
Hopefully we'll have a witness in case something good happens.  ;D

How awesome would a special show with just Robin on an acoustic, Dizzy on the keys, Frank on the drums and Axl singing be?  They could do Rain, Used to Love Her, Patience, Your Crazy and more.

I'd love them to bust out with 1 in a million if they did that.  Of course with fortus on lead.  Sorry robin.

I'd love to hear One In A Million live, altho I'm sure that's probably the last song we'll ever hear Gn'R play.  i think I'm going to go put it on right now tho. :hihi:

The band always fucked the timing on Estranged. The new band is way more proffesional and would nail the song to p-erfection. An acoustic version would rule tonight at a post show show

I don't know if Estranged would sound good acoustic though.

I'd love to see it in the set too, but I don't know if the band wants another epic in the set.. espechally since there will probably be at least one epic song on the album, and add that in with November Rain.. you could have 3 songs taking up almost half an hour of the set!  Plus they already to a 2 hour plus set!  haha, it'd be great though.

Hi all. I was at Retox Friday night. Bach was there but no Axl.

could we please have some details more elaborate than 'bach played'? maybe?

bach played on friday night with scott ian from anthrax and metal mike...  they came on around 3am and played till 4, i think...  they played a few skid row songs (i think) and they definitely played at least one anthrax song because back said, "i think this is the first time an anthrax song has ever been played acustic," and then scott ian said something to him and back goes, "no wait, this is the second time an anthrax song has ever been played acustic."  Nobody from gn'r were there, i'm 100% sure because i was in the VIP area.
