Title: I had to go through a metal detector at a Barbara Streisand concert Post by: Annie on November 10, 2006, 12:28:30 AM I had the good fortune to score a great Upper level seat today to Barbara Streisand's concert at the United Center. When we all entered the venue they had metal detectors at her request. I thought that was kind of strange. I have never seen that at any other show. When the concert was over, the metal detectors were gone.

Because she is an ICON and I wanted to hear her sing Evergreen. She kind of ruined that song by singing with these 4 European guys in different languages. I was very upset that she did that to that song. She had a teleprompter that even had her personal stories and introductions written out. I had an amazing seat for $100, people on the floor paid $750. That's why i couldn't get over the metal detectors. how scarey can rich white people be?
