new york is always special.....i hope they play every new one they've played yet. madagascar, cd, irs, better, blues! they all should be played. the hammerstein show(first) was a perfect set list.

I believe 'Prostitute' will be played tomorrow night.

Something new to the setlist probably will happen...

It's possible they'll play something different (not necessarily "new"), but don't be disappointed if they choose not to.

I have to say, I dont normally speculate, but I really think we will hear Prostitute tomorrow.

I am going with this until I hear something different at the show.  Don't want to set myself for dissapointment by speculating otherwise, although it would be nice!

My bet: they will play TWAT and maybe Rhiad. I guess Nice Boys and Perfect Crime are expected too, but anyways. No new unheard song at all.

in case of new songs i fuckin hope that there's someone who's gonna record the show : ok: but there's prolly gonna be at least one guy but prolly more and we are getting a dvd and soundboard and new songs and CD release date announcement and axl are going to take his braids of and will call slash from stage and there will be a band consisting of 15 members and they will play all the songs gn'r have ever recorded and... Ooops sorry this was supposed to be a secret, so nobody here tell anyone about this

As much as I'm hoping for some Prostitue :hihi: I'll do just fine with Perfect Crime and some TWAT :drool: :drool: .........But once I'm there I doubt I'd care what song is next. :smoking:

Anything is possible. I'd say though that if they were going to pull any surprises at ANY shows on the tour, I think it's safe to say it would more than likely be THIS one. Just my own thought

There will be tons of reporters and media at the Garden. It would make sense to make an announcement or announce the 1st single or play a new song...

This is trully the most important show of the U.S Tour so far. There will be some big names of the Music Industry tomorow night at the show.

why should there be more unheard songs in MSG? Just another concert, with the great setlist we already have. Thats my guess.

Definitely, something must happen. We must also remember NY's sincere love for GNR. Even if it means playing a new song that will most likely go over people's heads without too much response, it would be an exclusive for that show.

Or hey you know what, even if they don't do any new songs or announcements, I think if Axl can go as far as specifying "this song is our NEW SINGLE, it's called "Better"' or something like that, I'm sure that could be the start of things to come.

Of course. There's nothing definite that has been indicated to say "MSG will be a special show. Wait for it". It's just speculation. It will be a great show I'm su re. And yeah, like you said, if something does happen, then even better.

It could happen, they've played all those this year...

no new/unheard songs are going to be played. it'll be a show just like any other show except i'm guessing it starts earlier then normal for a GNR show (like in 02)

One or Two of the following will be played.....Prostitue If the World Perfect Crime and Nice Boys.....and Down on the Farm maybe?

i was expecting a new song back in 02.. but it was the same setlist as the rest of the tour.. still a great show.. but i was expecting something diff..  so i'm trying not expect anything... i want to say that they won't play any songs that they haven't already played.. the only thing that kinda makes me think they will throw in something different is that they just played 4 shows in may.. and a lot of the people that will be at msg just saw them a few months ago.  Since prostitute was on that setlist.. i guess it wouldn't be totally out of the question.. on kinda different note.. does anyone find it weird.. that a few new songs leak.. and those just happen to be the ones played on the tour.. then a pic of set list surfaces.. and they throw in Down on the farm..  seems like its all part of the master plan..haha

NYC had four shows in May. For Axl to return with the same setlist or, worse, less new songs is really terrible IMO.

MSG is a huge deal, it's time for something big to happen.

They'll play Chi Dem in its entirety and it will be on the merch table at the end of the show.

MSG is the most important tour date especially when you consider the media coverage.

To be honest I doupt they'll play more songs from CD until it comes out. But some of the older songs you might hear, like Perfect Crime :beer:

this is an important date.. remember in 02.. the tour went pretty much unnoticed.. then they gained some momentum with good reviews out of boston and NY.. i think other shows starting selling out after msg too.. but we all know how that ended...

Yeah ... In all honesty I would love for them to play a normal setlist plus the 6 new songs they did the first night at Hammerstein, plus Used to Love Her and CRazy

All that matters is a release date. If a new song is played I ain't listening to it. I want to hear new songs on the album. That's why I haven't listened to any of the demos since a month after they leaked. I want them to sound new.

Well they played TWAT when I went to the may 12th show, so I'm guessing something new but from the ILLUSION albums.  NO MORE new songs until the album comes out.

I just want a decent bootleg...of whatever they play.

Well, there is a reason people think that when they play a new song it will be either "Prostitute" or "If The World".

They will play a good average set... No, new songs will be played... But hopefully there will be some kind of statement since it's the main show of this tour... ?: ok:

Its got something to do with a certain enigmatic photo we're not supposed to talk about.  Personally, although we've seen/heard some evidence that lends said photo some credibility and significance, I'm not sure if a sold out show at msg is the place they'll choose to experiment with a new song.  Not much point to guessing though, because obviously, there's no way of knowing... "guess we'll have to wait and seeeeeeeahhhh." ;D  At any rate, have fun to all of you who are lucky enough to be going!

TWAT? those are not new songs. but to the setlist they will be new. cause they haven't played those in a long time except for TWAT.

i think if they decide to make it a special show it will be special in lenght not in amount of new material played.

they might play a longer set with all the songs from cd we've heard live this year, and maybe throw in perfect crime or nice boys. other than that i don't expect anything more
