It would be great to have some soundboards recordings from this US tour, like the ones we've had from Europe (well, the Rock Am Ring one and the mic mix from donington). There's a soundboard of the KROQ Inland Invasion show. Big set too. You speak of soundboards, but let's be honest about what has actually surfaced. Other than Europe's ROCK AM RING & North America's INLAND INVASION, we haven't heard any other great CD-quality things from this 2006 world tour. Title: Re: where is the US tour boots? I've listened to Inland Invasion several times through. It's fucking Live Era '87-'93 compared to Rio V. Rio V is all messed up. Inland Invasion, yeah it's got some issues here and there, and yes it has that 'internet' sound in places, but overall it's a great soundboard of a great set. The biggest problem is that Axl's voice regressed into the 2002-era gradually as the show goes on. Bottom line, nothing yet as came close to Rock Am Ring soundboard. That show had imo the best live performances ever of GN'R on songs like Jungle, Nightrain, Michelle, & PC. Title: Re: where is the US tour boots?
