Maybe merck and crew just dont realise the significance of promotion...

Maybe..

But, then again, if GnR are true to their message of "Fuck you, we do things our way" kind of thing, they won't see the point of promotion, as their *true* fans will keep up to date by finding out themselves (getting the information, rather than having it spoon-fed).

Alternativley, i do appreciate that they want to maximise profit margins, so getting more people to be 'enlightened' of the album / single release would be a good idea for that. Also, for those less-hardcore fans who have a life and don't use GnR forums (not me :D ! )

Because if they don't they will have to double up on a lot more venues than they think .

Why they can't just try & do things properly for a change & see how it goes is totally mind boggling.

But what suggested we're not calm?....

Surely you can't tell that someone is agitated by a discussion over the internet :-\ (or maybe he can......)

I don't know what to expect. To be honest, i forgot all about some Harley ad' with a new song in the background.

Why are we "not allowed" to speak about it then? Gustapo on us?

good point. We cant talk about that either at HTGTH, so it must be significant.

What is all this "we can't talk about that" talk!?!?!

I am aware of an advert that somehow got slipped with 'better' playing on it. Now it's gone, probably due to a timing mistake (the general concensus seems to think).

What's so "secret" about that? People make mistakes when releasing things to a timeline sometimes...

Everybody can see the advert on youtube. So what's the point about not having the right of talking about it ?

What 'talk' has been censored anyway?

Just stating that "The Harley ad' has Better in"?
Or discussing fine points like how the new version sounds?

Either way, it's pretty pathetic.

Next minute there'll be door-to-door inspections and firing squads for those thought of talking about the studio song in their home.... really, there will be. You should watch what you say.. All of ya!
