About the conversation that HollyWoodRose84 (real nice guy!), I want to make sure nothing gets lost in translation from a personal casual conversation to being quoted on the web for the world to read. The intention of what I was saying is that *hopefully* the album can be released close to schedule, I had mentioned the chain of events that albums go through - mixing, mastering, working out all the label bizz and promo... in my experience, everything usually takes longer than planned, but that's just my experience. Like I've told the 82,396 people who have asked me in the past 10 minutes about the album release, lol, only GnR management can legitimately inform y'all about that kind of stuff - I'm not involved in that end of bizz, I don't have the answers. Even if I did I wouldn't tell ya - it's not my place to be giving out news, that's what management's for, to let ya know wussup when they feel the time is right. Now, if I start doing management's job, Merck is gonna come out and play "Don't Cry" instead of me. Trust me, ya don't want me as the manager, and ya don't want Merck playing guitar. LOL.

Tonight's GnR show in Portland Maine has been canceled. Management will let ya know wussup. No worries, all is cool, all upcoming shows are on schedule, see ya soon in Worcester.

So last night in NJ we were in the hall about to walk onstage and were stopped - a bunch of gear suddenly died. Took a good minute to fix it. We were on the opposite side of stage waiting for the show to start, along with you. At the end of the night I switched to the fretless to play the Night Train end solo and my wireless died. All that gear was fine a few hours before at line check. Shit just happens - when it does, it sucks as much for the band as it does for you - we're on the same team and want the same thing - a great show. Maybe that's the heart of what was upsetting about the occasional negativity on some forums, when it feels like we're against each other instead of *with* each other. Love ya, appreciate ya, and am with ya.

glad to hear this.  Not to optomistic about a release this year tho. "*hopefully* close to schedule" and "it usually takes longer than planned" are not too confident of statements regarding a release.

Hes the best addition to GNR. A normal down to earth Jersey guy.

Bumblefoot is the best thing to happen to this band in a long time. Great guitarist, great guy and shows more appreciation for the fans than the management ever has.

Seeing this makes me wish that Ron was around in 2002 when they canceled that tour.  Maybe we would have gotten an answer out of the band instead of nothing.

They had a gag order on them, thanks to the mighty Clear Channel.

well that guy who had the conversation with him on mygnr.com.. said that Bumblefoot said that it still looks like its gonna be out in2006... he probably doesnt want what he said in that conversation to be all over the web... my guess, so hes playin abit coverup...

he seems like a really cool guy. his statements lead me to believe the cd won't be out this year. that'll suck if that happens.

whats cool about bbf is that he ?puts a human face to this band that makes it harder IMO to hate on them. he provides a voice and a patience that show that maybe *gasp* this band is made up of human beings and when you deal with real human beings and situations, shit sometimes happens. nothing you can do but move on.

It's hard to read that and not think that in his own classy way he's trying to tell us CD isn't coming this year, without really saying it. That bites, if true.

I don't understand how people think the CD is NOT coming out this year.  He said when the time is right, GN'R management will properly promote this album at least 2 weeks ahead of time.  I'm betting by mid-November, you will start hearing about this album and when its coming out. 

I'm holding you to this, considering mid-November comes next week.

Seems like BBF also checks on message boards too.. :)

Never said that..I'm just assuming from Bumblefoot's comments that the label IS actually going to promote this thing.  I still believe it'll come out with little notice, but after reading this I think it MIGHT get a huge push a couple of weeks prior to its release.

I feel that having Ron in the band is probably one of the best decisions Axl has made in quite some time.

It's really refreshing to see someone who's so consistently thoughtful and appreciative of the fans.

I get the impression that management could learn a few things from that man. ?:yes:

Yeah i think your like one of the negative ppl that bbf is on about. Look i know it sucks for the fans that wanted to see the show i mean id be gutted but Axl has always been about giving 100% and if some asshole wont let him give 100% he will not perform this has always been a feature/characteristic of Axl and in some ways whats why so many of us think he is fucking great its a fucking rock and Roll band you need to have pyros at a show. But anyhow lets look foward to tomorrow and see what happens.

Yea when i saw the stuff posted yesterday morning I knew something like this was going to happen, bbf is a genuine good guy, people have to learn not to hang the guy by posting his comments on the boards to see becuase management does have people checking the main sites daily. We do not need bbf getting in trouble.
