I don't understand why people keep thinking he said that they keyboards weren't why he was late-- What the hell would be the point of him saying that, especially when the band made an announcement. 

He said something along the lines of "I had nothing to do with those technical difficulties, so you can't blame it on my sorry ass." 

No, that's not word for word what he said, but it was meant as a joke-- seriously, are you guys really that foolish to believe he would taunt the crowd after telling them how great they were and all-- cmon people

axl's comment during the show last night.? People are saying he said that the keyboards weren't his reason for showing up late, but he said exactly the opposite, and when someone gets the boot, you'll see what I'm talking about.? He said something like "You can't blame the technical difficulties on my sorry ass"

someone else on mygnr heard it the same way... "He also said the show started a bit late not because of his "sorry ass", but there was technical diffilcuties (keyboard). His comment was funny."

Honestly, why would he say to the crowd that he just made them wait that long for the hell of it, and that the announcement and such were all just pointless.  Hmm, trying to build new audience, why don't I just say, "hey, I ------ you over on a sunday night for no reason." 

I hadn't even noticed that until you pointed it out !!  I nearly wet myself laughing when I checked !!

Axl's comment, just about word for word, was "and those technical delays had nothing to do with my sorry ass". I know that's pretty much word for word, because after he said it I wrote it down, cause it was so damned funny. What happened is around 11:30, a guy came out and said "Axl and co. are here, we are having problems with the keyboard." I then looked over to where the keyboard was, and there was a guy fiddling with it. There were 5-6 other guys standing around looking at the wires or something. I don't know. It was just a funny comment that Axl said.

Not so much.  I was replying to someone who had bitched because I included (god forbid) a quote from mygnr (as can be seen above) -- The mods deleted his thread because there was no reason for it, but my reply is still there- I'll try to delete if if i can, but yeah, i guess it looks pretty funny to someone who doesn't know the backstory. 

Its amazing, though, how people will look beyond even the basist logic just to find a way to paint axl in a bad light.

I would appreciate if, in light of what I just said, you would at least reconsider making me out to look like a moron, since I didn't delete the post that wouldve made it all make sense, the mods did

i know im sorry, i just had to take my shot while it was still there, no more, it was funny people at the show were saying security just told me hes not here at like 11:40 and axls still at the airport and shit, I wanted to hit them.  I understand your point, just read the thread and see how funny it looks. It like people didnt want him to show so they could bash him.  Some chick told me hes at the airport at 11:30, then she said were gonna start fires and shit soon, blah blah, she wanted to riot and could care less about gnr.
