I went to the local Hooters restaurant tonight for the WWE Cyber Sunday pay per view (by the way of which I was very happy with since Roddy Piper and Ric Flair won the tag belts) and they were having the CT rock station WCCC there for a football promotion. I talked to them about Chinese Democracy and they claimed all top reps have pointed them toward December as the month. Nothing confirmed, nothing earth-shattering, delete this post if you wish...I just wanted to share what they said to me with all the true GnR fans.

sounds great...matches up with the DECEMBER 5th release.  That's what I'm going with...too many big albums in November.

I was going to guess Dec 5th too but that's taken i'll go with Dec 12.

I think that Dec. 5th seems to be the most likely date of release. But who knows?? I just hope it comes out.  :smoking:

I don't know about Gwen, but there's no way they're gonna put CD head-to-head with Jay-Z's comeback album, that's being HEAVILY promoted.

Geffen wont be handling the release, its too big for them. The powers that be at Universal will be supervising this one!

i haven't seen or heard any promotion for that album...i wonder if they are having the same discussion on the jay z board that we have on here about the lack of promotion...

I've actually seen a ton of promotion for the Jay Z album and am already sick of it. The single and video have been out for at least a month already I think.  It must be nice to be promoted like crazy... AND just because YOU haven't seen or heard promotion for an album, doesn't mean it's not happening, except for GN'R.

Raven, who was the dj who passed that info along, has since admitted he was basically fucking with people....which is sorta what I thought (and implied) when we were discussing the information.

who knows when it will be out at this pont. im done guessing. I have a friend that works at Geffen and about a month and a half a go he heard definately november. i just recently talked to him and he said - "i dont even know man. i havent heard a thing about it and it doesnt look like it will be out in november anymore."
