Here Today... Gone To Hell!

My friend, who is going to the MSG concert, just called me and asked me to go to the mall with him. The reason being is that he wanted to pick up Chinese Democracy. He was like "Dude lets go buy it". I told him what was up with everything and he didn't understand how they'd be touring with no release date set and anything.

haha. he just doesn't understand how things in the GNR world work. He actually offered me his other ticket and my other friend bitched and moaned about it so he took it. Naturally im pissed.

What woulda been hilarious if he walked into a store and saw it on the shelfs jus like merck joked! Then you wouldnt believe he had it! ?:yes:

He just suffers from a little something called "common sense"

I still don't understand why touring with no album is such a hard concept.

They were on the Use Your Illusion Tour for nearly FOUR months before the albums were released, and that's not counting warm-up shows or Rock In Rio II.

So your friend who doesn't know anything about GN'R has tickets but you don't? ???

did he say he was excited to see duff and slash? :hihi:

apparently he only understands 'logic' aka things that make sense.

I'm not saying it doesn't make sense. He just didnt understand it. I'm sure GNR have something big planned and I'm excited they are out and about and playing  :)


He knows about them a good amount. But hes not a die hard fan who follows every recent move. I just don't have the cash to afford a ticket and the train and travel/food/etc costs right now. Hopefully ::please:: when they come to philly eventually  : ok:, I'll see them.

Dude 1: Hey lets go to see the Chinese Democracy Tour!
Dude 2: I'm In!  Can we go to the mall and buy the album!
Dude 1: Uhh nah GNR Doesn't work that way
Dude 2: Ohhhh

haha exactly, you can't blaim the guy for thinking that a band whose been on tour for 5 months so far to support their new album has a new album out...

A lot of former members doesn't either.

What does common sense have to do with knowing when CD comes out??



I dont think its bad that they started the tour without the album being released, but if they don't release the album sometime during the tour, then I will say it was stupid to do it.
