During a pod cast a week or 2 ago, talking metal did say something special will happen on the 21st. But they were unable to ellaborate on what. They did say it wasnt to do with cd being released that day. ?:smoking:

So we can assume the very special event isn't going to be very special at all then? If something other than the daily speculation thread on this board is what it will end up as.

What can be special in GN'R terms if it's not involving the album? I'm clueless at this point.

It can still involve the album. They just say it doesn't have to do with it being released that day. As merck has said thats not the right date. It could be about anything. It could just mean something special to them, maybe they get an interview or something. They said its not for sure yet, so they didnt want to comment on it too much.? :smoking:

I definitely think the album is coming out November 21st because I have a friend who works in a shoe factory and he said that he knows a guy who told him that's definitely the date. Ok, seriously though, this date was denied by Merck. How many times do we have to drive around that track? Isn't that enough? If something changes, great... but last I checked that guy was as close to a 'source' as we have.

To the OP, the article was a legitimate 'company' that posted it on their website. Their sources were vague, and Jarmo has asked we not post or discuss it here. But it was reported. Merck denied it, saying it is false and Nov 21st is NOT the release date.

Yeah ever since I read that I've been wondering what in the hell it could possibly be....the only thing I can think of is the return of a certain former member to the stage.  b.  If it isn't the album release and it isn't a single its hard to think of anything else that would be "special" for the band.
