Look real close at that last one - all that for only $30!  Don't know if you can see from those pics but it included a real Live Like A Suicide tape, a Live from the Jungle tape (with obi!), an Appetite acetate demo tape, etc.  Always keep your eyes open

I will have a website coming soon which will list everything i have with quality pics.

If you're a big collector, how much would you pay for the Illusion Box Set limited edition release?

You would think he would have featured the LLAS tape in the pics more if it was real, no?

Trust me, it's real.  I think that this person didn't know what they had exactly.  Always nice to take advantage of that!

What is the video 8 footage? Now this could be by far the most interesting item listed..... If its fan made hanging out with the band, then you could only guess that this hasn't been seen before!

Please check it out and let us know...

Well, I agree with you here, of course I also bid because of all the other stuff included too.  I am all ears on how to see/listen to this video 8?  Where can I get a player?  Can you rent one? Etc.  Thanks!

Video 8 comes from a type of camcorder that was used back in the 80s, my dad used to have one.  I would think you would need to find an old Video (8mm) capable camcorder or have the tape converted by someone who does.  Or borrow one from someone-

Here is someone selling one pretty cheap-

Which one are you referring to exactly?  Info/pics would be great

You can take those tapes to places in the UK to have them converted to dvd. I had some done for my mom and dad a few xmas ago.

Not sure where in the world you are, but would expect a similar service.  Some of those recorders didnt have sound though. Would be cool if the tapes you have were recorded on a device with sound.

I think you are thinking of Super 8 not Video 8, they are 2 different formats.

Super 8 was used back in the 50s/60s.

Video 8 was in the 80s and has sound.

But you are right, no matter where you are in the world you would have to get someone that does conversions to see it, unless you have the equipment to play it.

No kidding.  A lot of the box sets are fakes but that don't mean they ain't cool.  As I said I collect official stuff, but will gladly pick up something unofficial if it's decent.

I agree TSI box set may not be offical Geffen but it's still really cool and worth collecting, Im looking to pick one of those up too.  ;) The UYI I & II wood box set is the same, Ive got that - I think it was produced by the same company in Germany as TSI and I reckon that looks great!

You got a real  bargain too with that mixed lot with the LLAS cassette etc!

The Spaghetti Incident boxset is absolutely official.

Is the TSI official?? I think it was made in the UK (I said Germany incorrectly previously) as the UYI one is and appears to be very similar to it.? The UYI one has no mention of Geffen or anything on it.?

Do you know if the UYI one is official?

It's the Illusions Wooden Box Set.  It has each of the Illusion CD's in it plus a certificate of authenticity.

That is official as well, and pretty valuable.

Well I dropped it off today to get transferred to DVD.  About a half hour later they called me and told me there was about a minute and a hlaf worth of material, and at that it was fuzzy.  Oh well!

Very nice finds, especially the last one - have you listened to that in-house Geffen promo tape of AFD yet? if so listen carefully, the mixes of the tracks may be differant - those cassette promos can be absolutely gold, there was this famous pre-Ten, Pearl Jam one that was full of alternate versions of Jeremy, Alive, Black etc.

Hey there - didn't want you to think that I left you hanging.  So far I have listened from Jungle to Brownstone and no discernible differences.  Will let you know when I am done with the rest.
