Title: Chords request!
Post by: Demon Wolf on October 29, 2006, 01:06:49 PM
Let's say I were to play Better on an acoustic guitar, standard tuning... What chords is in it? The reason I am doing this is because a friend asked me to play a new GNR for her, and I think an acoustic Better could be fantastic.

That or chords for The Blues would be brilliant. I have a nasty cold right now, so I don't hear much at all, so I can't really figure the chords out myself (ever had a cold like that when it feels like somebody put a whole lot of cotton in your ears)

Thanks in advance!

I remember BBF saying that Better is in Drop D.

Thanks dude...

The accoustic is something like that, tuned on Db:

C
e --3--
B --3--
G --0--
D --2--
A --3--
E ------

Em
e --3--
B --3--
G --0--
D --2--
A --2--
E --0--

G
e --3--
B --3--
G --0--
D --0--
A --2--
E --3--

The rhythm is something like C - Em - G - Em and the chorus is like Em - G - A. The transitions between verse and chorus is C - B - C - D - E (always with the two fingers on the third fret).

I dunno if I explained well, english is not my 1st language, sorry.

Fantastic! Sounds amazing. The hard part is to play the verse rhytm and sing at the same time... :D
