I dont give a shit who is drummer, to me Brain is a solidified GNR drummer, I just dont want there to be any bullshit going on behind the scenes.  Like having a member who has been there the past 5/6 years leave.

since this is a Radio station event  the arena  should be sold out . I mean  how much more promotion do they need  than a radio station??

I have been wondering that a lot too.  You have to think that this will sell better, as the station has done nothing but pump up the show for the last few weeks and giving away tickets.

If you're referring to the bra, then the answer's no.  He mucked about with one that was thrown on stage at Glasgow, pretending to wear it and then holding it up and saying that he had a couple of new cereal bowls for his wheaties and Scottish milk.  Later on, he retrieved it from where he'd thrown it to the back of the stage and placed in on Tommy's head while he was playing.  Poor chap couldn't do anything about it for a while and looked like he was wearing a giant pair of earmuffs!  :hihi:

BTW, I'd like to add my thanks to the updaters for this show, especially to LittleFly for updating her first post with the complete setlist on the update thread.  Made life so much easier when I logged on first thing this morning.  Thanks, you're a star.   : ok:

Electricity was down from Tampa, but GNR still kicked ass, and made my ears ring

Ron took time out to show a shirt on the tron, cool of him to do so

Robin tried to crowd surf and play unsuccessfully, the crowd just couldn't him over the rail

Sometimes I wonder really wonder, if the reason Axl , GNR are doing these kinda of venues, isn't cause he thinks or they think or hope they sell out, remember, when you have an area and u utilze the floor to the max, you are adding so many more seats. And some peoples logic is well they should play smallers venues,. I say for what, so if they got sold out and scalpers could rape real fans hat wanna go to the show. Its almost like they are giving an invitation to a party and are saying, its open to all. And those that are there get to see that, and are thrilled. You play safe smaller venues, honestly fans are the ones most likly to get screwed, just to put this in perspective, today later tix go ons ale for justin timberlake at MSG, for jan or some shit, tix prices are $165-$625. NOw who is ripping of who! Thats fucking crazy!

Same set list as last two nights, pretty much.  I'm not complaining, i'm happy they're playing "Chinese Democracy."  I'm sure is the tour goes on we'll hear more songs.  Don't be dissapointed, guys.  ;D

Had a great time. was on Floor about 2-5 rows back. Concert was insane up until the Blue and the solos and then it naturally slowed down. Then when Baz hit the stage for My Michele, MAGIC. AXL's voice even got better and more clear. Maybe it was the pressure of singing with Baz. But anyway My Michele, IRS, Used to Love Her, Patience, Nightrain and the 2 encores were spectacular.

I'm so glad I chose this smaller venue, less room for Axl to run around and get winded. :beer:

It was last night-and all I can say is...WOW!
Seriously, words escape me. I cannot believe I
considered not going! It was just unbelievable.
Sebastian Bach got it all started and was less than
impressive, but he was ok and looked good. So he
sounded a little weak and seemed to forget some of the
words-whatever. It was still Sebastian! Then Papa
Roach played and they were really great! I have never
been a huge fan of theirs-couldn't quite get past the
name-but they have had several songs I have really
liked over the years. They did a good job and I really
enjoyed them. Then at about 11:00, GNR came on. Axl
came out with his shades and I thought I was going to
lose it. (And I was pretty close, too! It was general
admission on the floor and I was where about the
8th-10th row would have been. I ended up moving back a
little after about the first 30-45 minutes because my
friend was getting too jostled and she's pretty short
and couldn't see over all the people.) I mean, after
all the rumours and all the crap he's been pulling, I
was still not 100% convinced he would show. I think
that's how everyone felt. He showed all right, and
proceeded to put on one of the best performances I
have seen, from anyone. Wow. He and the band were so
frakkin' awesome, I cannot even explain it but I know
you understand! They went above and beyond, with a ton
of fireworks/pyrotechnics/flames shooting up and then
when they ended with "Paradise City" they shot red
confetti out into the crowd on the floor. It was so
far beyond my expectations. He also actually came
across as a nice guy! He seemed like he's really
trying to make up for all the stuff that's happened
during the last 10 years or so, and I think he is. I
even liked the new songs.

They came on at about 11:00-11:15 and played until
1:15.

It was so worth every penny I paid for the ticket.

I am really happy for you that GNR is doing such great
shows and getting good reviews. I know how much you
love them. They deserve it! :)

Good review. Glad u had a good time. I know it's Uncle Axl, but why did u expect a no-show?? ??? Gnr has been honoring their obligations lately.
