Title: Question About Deleted Posts Post by: russtcb on October 25, 2006, 11:28:52 AM Just now I was in a discussion with a guy who was complaining about how the setlist hasn't changed, and the tour shouldn't be called Chinese Democracy and blah blah fn blah.
I was ofcourse setting him straight on the subject when all of a sudden a bunch of the posts got deleted. Here's my question: When it comes to deleted posts, do they still count towards your post count? Title: Re: Question About Deleted Posts Post by: NicoRourke on October 25, 2006, 11:33:30 AM Here's my question: When it comes to deleted posts, do they still count towards your post count? No, I don't think so. But anyway, post counts don't mean shit ;) You can have someone with 4 posts that are all interesting and another with 7,000 all full of crap :hihi: Title: Re: Question About Deleted Posts Post by: Jim on October 25, 2006, 11:35:14 AM No, they don't.
If a whole thread is removed though, those posts should still count... But I'm not sure on that one. The post count is almost a small reward to me, ya know? :) Title: Re: Question About Deleted Posts Post by: jarmo on October 25, 2006, 11:58:05 AM I know some of the posts are thought out and have interesting points in them, but we just don't need to have the same "discussion" in every show thread becaus there's five people who think they need to bring it up over and over again.
Five people who weren't even at the show. /jarmo Title: Re: Question About Deleted Posts Post by: russtcb on October 25, 2006, 12:09:21 PM I know some of the posts are thought out and have interesting points in them, but we just don't need to have the same "discussion" in every show thread becaus there's five people who think they need to bring it up over and over again. Five people who weren't even at the show. /jarmo I completely understand that. Most of the time I'm really good at letting that stuff slide and not responding. It's just that other 10% of the time that I can't help myself! ;D Title: Re: Question About Deleted Posts Post by: anythinggoes on October 25, 2006, 12:28:35 PM heretodaygonetohell its a dictatorship. Nothing counts unless you own the board :hihi:
Sorry Jarmo you know i dont mean it :peace: Title: Re: Question About Deleted Posts Post by: Eazy E on October 25, 2006, 02:41:24 PM So, do all posts that quote a deleted post get deleted as well? Or is anything that appears at a quick glance to be remotely negative get put on the chopping block (even if it isn't)?
Title: Re: Question About Deleted Posts Post by: jarmo on October 25, 2006, 02:56:05 PM Depends on where and what is posted.
