I just called my local radio station, WWIZ, realrock104.com.  I got the DJ on the phone, Cool!

I asked if they got the new GNR single yet.  He said, "Which one?"

I replied, Better. 

He said, "We got a couple lying around here, I will get it on for you."

Interesting.

PS:  I am still waiting for some news!! (CD, single, open band for Cleveland show, Axl's girlfriend's phone number,...)

By "coulb" do you mean "couple"?? ?If so, I'm sure he meant he got a "couple singles in" NONE of which are GNR so it really doesn't matter. Kindof a pointless post. What you think your local radio station just happens to be sitting on a GnR single yet chooses not to be the first in the nation to play it.... until you call?!

You know, I've been thinking for a while that it would be very cool if GNR released TWO singles right away. And kind of let fan reaction choose which one was better...

Don't give radio DJs so much credit.
They do what they're told, play what they're told to play and will humor people who call in because they're easily bored.
(I was a DJ for a while, it's not an easy biz)
When something's going to happen, I highly doubt a radio DJ will know before we do.
Now if you're talking to a program director or station owner/planner, that's a different story.

OK, why don't you call back and ask him what singles they are...  if they are at the station i'm sure the guy will tell you the titles.

he won't call back 'cause he wasn't calling in from the begining.. at least it makes no sense calling to a radio station request a song when he aint gonna hear it
