The Canadian shows are all doing pretty damn well. Only singles left in Calgary, nosebleeds in Ottawa and Toronto, etc. Title: Re: St John, New Brunswick? Post by: kyrie on October 24, 2006, 04:36:20 PM Some venue information for this show:
Full Concert: Permanent Seating for 6,139 plus up to 1,468 on the floor. $3,500 per day minimum guarantee or 10% of gross ticket sales (net of applicable taxes), whichever is greater. Move-in/-out days at $1,750 per day. So that's going to be about 7,500 tickets for this show I guess. I'm not sure if that counts behind-the-stage area, as GNR doesn't usually sell the seats there (at least not that I'm away of). Title: Re: St John, New Brunswick? Post by: Noticeboy on October 24, 2006, 06:41:54 PM Will this show sell out?
I think Halifax did so quickly due in part that it was the only one this far east in Canada. Good luck to NB... I hope you prove me wrong. I also expect you'll see ebay tickets for Halifax go up as those in NB will sell because of less travel. Title: Re: St John, New Brunswick? Not this guy....Halifax on the 20th then back home to Saint John on the 21st : ok: Title: Re: St John, New Brunswick? Not funny at all! >:( I know, they're fucking with us. And Michelle Wright (the fuck??) is playing MileOne on the 22nd, so the only other time to get GNR would be the 19th (right after the Quebec City gig) or the 23rd (right before the Cleveland gig). The 19th would work better but I don't think it's possible (4 shows in 4 nights?). Suddenly, Halifax is looking closer to me than ever. And Pilferk, it's a lot warmer in the Maritimes in November than it is in Winnipeg in December. Title: Re: St John, New Brunswick? It's a lot warmer ANYWHERE, including a FREEZER, than Winnipeg in December :P Title: Re: St John, New Brunswick? Post by: 2005 on October 25, 2006, 12:49:07 AM Sorry, gotta say - it's SAINT John - not ST. John. Never abbreviated - we get confused with St. John's Newfoundland constantly as it is.
Also - a bit of trivia - last time they were here they were OPENING for The Cult! Someone hit Axl in the head with a beer bottle and he vowed never to come back. Glad he's forgiven us - or more likely, forgotten. Title: Re: St John, New Brunswick? Post by: jedinewf on February 15, 2007, 06:45:29 PM DID anyone get any pics from Saint John,
