Title: Unenforced Rules Post by: phi_kai_phi on October 23, 2006, 02:06:24 AM Why are some rules enforced and others not? I may be wrong or mistaken, but it seems that people post in threads only to complain about how worthless they think they are ALL THE TIME (regardless if other posters are interested in it).
Here's a quote from "the rules:" "Don't post simply to complain about someone else's spelling and grammar or complain about the thread itself. " Why is that rule never enforced? Thanks. Title: Re: Unenforced Rules Post by: NicoRourke on October 23, 2006, 03:52:14 AM phi_kai_phi, are you here to talk about the band or to do a study about HTGTH ?
Title: Re: Unenforced Rules Post by: phi_kai_phi on October 23, 2006, 03:26:06 PM The band, fasho. But when I get bashed for breaking rules I want to make sure I understand them so I don't break them again. People can run the board how they want... I'm just asking questions.
Title: Re: Unenforced Rules Post by: Lisa on October 23, 2006, 07:41:12 PM Is there a reason you couldn't Pm Jarmo or another Mod to ask this question instead of starting another useless thread? ???
Title: Re: Unenforced Rules Post by: phi_kai_phi on October 23, 2006, 09:11:42 PM Is there a reason you couldn't Pm Jarmo or another Mod to ask this question instead of starting another useless thread? ??? Well... it's not just Jarmo who doesn't *seem* to enforce the rule.... am I supposed to PM every mod? Title: Re: Unenforced Rules Post by: phi_kai_phi on October 23, 2006, 09:18:52 PM Also.... why is it that whenever someone has an idea or a question that people don't like.....
They say "the thread is worthless"... Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's invalid in any way. If you choose not to keep an open mind, so be it, just don't post. This thread is an opportunity for Mod's to either explain why the rule isn't enforced, or just say "oh jee forgot about that one maybe i'll look out for that problem from now on." Or... even maybe revise the rules if you want to allow it. I'm just curious to understand what's going on. Well... it's not just Jarmo who doesn't *seem* to enforce the rule.... am I supposed to PM every mod? Yes, and it wouldnt take but a few minutes to do. Dont have the energy to copy and past a few times or what? Title: Re: Unenforced Rules Post by: AdZ on October 23, 2006, 09:26:50 PM It is enforced when it's seen.
Title: Re: Unenforced Rules Post by: Guns N RockMusic on October 23, 2006, 10:29:09 PM It is enforced when it's seen. you mean you don't personally supervise in great detail every thread for infractions of the rules! :nervous: What next, you're gonna tell us you have a personal life and don't spend every waking moment reading these forums? Title: Re: Unenforced Rules Post by: AdZ on October 23, 2006, 10:44:56 PM well i don't make 40-60 posts a day..

Dont have the energy to copy and past a few times or what? Ummm..... excuse me.... but "Administrative, Feedback & Help".... if your suggestion is correct, then why is there such a forum to begin with? There should be no posts here and everyone should PM all the mods. I knew mods were in the habbit of turning all feedback into insults... but I thought that was one rhetorical question I didn't think I'd get a smart-ass answer for.
