Whoever came up with the idea for that must have been smoking some serious shit. Eddie Murphy in a Macho Men outfit with Michael Jackson, and the video ends with school boys (NO girls, just boys) running out and dancing around them holding hands with pink hearts flying around in the sky. Note to producers: if a musician has a history involving allegations of child abuse against young boys, don't put him in a music video with young boys and hearts. Just a little tip for future reference. What's great about this is that a few years earlier before he broke through the mainstream and actually had a good amount of talent, Eddie made fun of Michael extensively in his stand-up and insinuated he was gay. Suddenly when this video was made they were best friends (Eddie said so in a making-of posted on YouTube). Funny how becoming famous will change things. |
