And I hate cardboard CD cases. Just give us a good old-fashioned jewel case. But I would like to see some group shots and some individual shots as well. Perhaps an essay by Rose on the making of CD. A duel-CD would also be cool, with some interviews and a making of Chinese Democracy would be cool.

It'd be cooler if he drew the actual cover, since he helped create the music and is intimate with it.

None of the greatest CDs of the past have ever had multiple versions. Just give it one concrete format, world wide. I love Digipacks. Jewel cases feel so cheap. Or maybe it's just years of being a Pearl Jam/Nine Inch Nails fan, and looking forward to their casing. Also, I would really hope the band would do some photoshoots so we might get a cool picture of the band together inside the cd booklet or something of that sort.

Other than that, let the originality flow... I personally think the SF Warfield poster/promo is cool for the cover. Very Guns, and it almost seems like a Chinese Democracy-version of the Use Your Illusion covers. Kind of like, new-Guns with a little hint of vintage. |
