How many minutes do you guys think Chinese Democracy be?  What does a cd hold??  about 75-80 min....  On the Illusions they pretty much filled them all up.  I'm sure with all the songs that have been recorded they could if they want fill it up but on the Rolling Stone interview back in Jan.  Axl said I believe the album would be 13 songs..... 

I know Illusions had allot of "fillers" on it but that was 2 cd's. Because Democracy is going to be one album I'm sure it will be THE best of the best. Because of that I say fill that sucker up! With as many songs as we've already heard played live and leaked I want to hear as many unheard songs as possible!    : ok:

he said they were working on 32 songs and 26 songs were nearly done, of which 13 songs were slated for the final album. then, it was reported that two albums, cd and its succeeding album were in the make in sync at that point.

WTH you mean by fillers. if you mean the songs you don't like, I'm sure you can always find them.  : ok:

If we base it on the leaks, I think those songs are somewhere between 4 and 6 minutes, so I guess somewhere between 60 and 70. ?:smoking:

Probably 70-80 minutes and guessing 14 tracks............

Fairly long, Axl does have a penchant for adding a couple of lengthy tracks(ie Locomotive, Coma, Nov. Rain, Civil War, and even songs like Kohd, Paradise City, patience, and rocket queen are over 6 min long, which is pretty lengthy by average radio standards. So I say about 70 minutes long.

The Illusions did not have any fillers so i dont know what your talking about.

average song length so far is like 5ish minutes so i'd guess 60-65 minutes

Sorry, just did a google search with neagative results.  read it on Splat last year before they went to there new format.  They lost all previous discussions/threads.  Anyone from the splat community with the quote?

I am hoping for a 55 - 65 minutes long cd but, it doesn't really matter if it's shorter. Quality over quantity anytime  :peace:

As much as possible, but I wouldn't expect more than 12-13 tracks. Personally I wish it was a double-album like the Illusion's, because our wait has been so long, but I get the feeling with a tracklist like that, it's gonna be more like UYI 2, and have alot of 7-8 minute songs on it, epics, which will make up the track time.

The six songs we have thus far are about 45 mins or so. So that leaves 35 more mins for the other 6 or 7 songs.
