Here Today... Gone To Hell!

On Live Era, at 6 minutes and 55 seconds into Paradise City, you start to hear the sound of tape running backwards, and then two guys arguing. Its mixed into the song, so you have to turn it up to hear it. Has anyone else noticed this before? What the hell is all that about? Is it only my copy?

Maybe it's Axl and Slash arguing? I don't know why they'd put that in there, but that's the first thing that came to my mind ????

more than likely, and the soundboard forgot to turn the feed off from the mic,  dont even wanna know where the guy was planning on hiding the mic before the other dude said thats fucked up, we dont do that here man! lol

i suppose its possible, doesnt explain the tape noises.

sure it couldnt be that the guy holding the mic is running with it and its just getting noises from the wind / brushing up against peoples clothes etc?

no, its obviously tape running either forwards or backwards.

From what I remember it goes like this: "that's fucked up man, you can't do that!" There's some more stuff too, but a little unaudible. Maybe someone with good ears can hear it.

And yeah, you can hear the mic flying through the air after Axl throws it.

still sounds like tape to me, not wind.

i wasnt expecting to find some secret GNR in studio arguement or anything. these sound errors happen all the time, sometimes audio bleeds in from nearby studios (like abby road during the Dark Side of the Moon recordings) and ends up on the albums by mistake.

just thought it was interesting and wondered if anyone know what it was all about.

i was acually thinking about this yesterday.  i think it was mixed in on purpose, just to ad on to the end of the song. make them sound 'dangerous' or whatever. i thought it was axl.

I think that I can make it ou...Axl is sayin ......November 13th over and over again...coincidence. Sorry man, thanks for the tip, I love that kinda stuff. You know, at the end of MR brownstone when axl says something like "take a step back" and one guy shouts 'we did already". I love that stuff : ok:

i heard it on the 7:10 mark

The whole thing begins at 6:55 and at 7:10 you're able to unserstand what's being said

I'm almost positive thats the noise in the begining is just wind and clothes hitting the mic, I've recorded before and when you blow or rub onto a mic the noise made sounds exactly like that.

Axl tossed the mic in the crowd, and thats the fans fighting over it, they just forgot to turn the mic off.

i think the first man talking before the "don't do that here man" is Axl.. ???

Never noticed that but I have noticed that alot of the songs on LIVE ERA sound like two different performances being spliced together.

the 'LAS VEGAS' part in paradise city is repeated three times. it wasnt really sung like this, he only said it once.

also, the discs were printed with the wrong disc numbers on them (disc one is listed as disc two, ect...)

See, my copy is weird..its the first print with the Paradise City glitch, but my discs are correct and not reversed. As far as I know, 99% of the first printings has the glitch and wrong numbered discs.
