The goofball station started out the promotion by saying you could win an autographed guitar.....by slash. They have since dropped it, some say because the station got a nasty gram from Axl's management.

Non-existant in central Florida. yeah, they are pushing it really hard here.....which is awesome. The promotion is based on the past however, for instance, the DJ just said, "in about 20 min we will be talking about 1992..." but its awesome to hear my fav band being talked about like it is 1991..haha Title: Re: Guns N' Roses weekend on 96 Rock in North Carolina. Congrats to the people in NC who will be having a GN'R weekend with 96 Rock. I'm sure most of us on this board may be having a GN'R weekend as well, minus the radio station of course. I am not saying it is indeed fact, I just got 2nd hand info from a coworker who heard the DJ say Axl made them drop the slash promotion. Whatever did or did not happen, they did drop the slash guitar promo, so yeah, who knows. |
