Hello, this is Ticketmaster Customer Service with an important alert for your upcoming event. GUNS N ROSES scheduled at JACKSONVILLE ARENA on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2006, AT 8:00PM, has been postponed. The new date is TUE OCT 31 2006 8:00PM. Original tickets will be honored for the new date, or you may obtain a refund by following the instructions below for your applicable delivery method. Thats SUCKS!!! Title: Re: JAX Postponed til OCT 31st Post by: schtingmon on October 13, 2006, 11:46:46 AM I'm with you on this one. ?Bought 3 tickets. ?Was going to take my nephew to his first concert. ?However, Halloween is definitely out! ?School the next day for my nephew plus I would rather spend Halloween with my wife and my daughter (in her cute little costume) than Axl. ?Friday Oct. 20th was perfect. ?Tuesday Oct. 31st sucks!! ?Some people have to work on Wednesday. ?I'd have a 2 hour drive after the concert and then have to get up the next morning.

This date change sucks. I wasn't expecting a sellout, but now with this, I think it'll be pretty empty (unless a single or album comes QUICKLY). I can't drop everything so GnR can have an easier travel schedule, which I assume that's what happened. I have to assume because I got the Ticketmaster notice before any press release, which just adds to the bad management that's already happened. First good assigned floor seats are lost to GA, now moving the date which will cause many to miss this show. No explaination.
I still love this band and don't blame Axl (at least not fully). It's just been a one of many poorly planed ventures which are too many to list and talked about way too much. I just wish for the bands well being that someone will take charge and get it right. To most people, this just makes Axl look bad and someone should be accountable.
