Title: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: The Legend on October 12, 2006, 04:35:37 AM Excuse my ignorance, but for those that have attended the previous shows here in 2006...
What all are they selling at the souvenir stands inside? Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: kaasupoltin on October 12, 2006, 05:11:24 AM http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?topic=36265.0 .. For example.
Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: The Legend on October 12, 2006, 05:22:44 AM Thanks, I appreciate that. I've already read that thread though.
T-shirts is all they've been selling? So far on the list... T-shirts Hoodies Hockey jerseys What else? Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: jarmo on October 12, 2006, 05:28:43 AM In Europe they had t-shirts, hoodies, long sleeves, girls' tops, wristbands, baseball caps etc..
/jarmo Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: The Legend on October 12, 2006, 05:32:28 AM Cool. Hopefully they'll have the same here in the states, although typically Europe has gotten a better selection. (more alternate shirts seem to pop up there)
What sizes did they carry in the shirts at these shows? Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: jarmo on October 12, 2006, 05:51:27 AM S to XL I think...
They also had lots of other stuff. Christos knows more. :hihi: /jarmo Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: kaasupoltin on October 12, 2006, 10:12:52 AM They had some posters too in Europe.
Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: The Legend on October 12, 2006, 10:28:48 AM Of the new band?
I didn't know those existed. That's fucking great! Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: iloozion on October 12, 2006, 11:19:18 AM Of the new band? I didn't know those existed. That's fucking great! no, just the new logo, and flags too and the neck strap things you can attach security passes etc to (whatever they're called) Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: Barbie567 on October 12, 2006, 11:25:53 AM There was a watch on a wide leather wristband at the Hammerstein shows - I wanted to buy it, but after 4 concert tickets & a sweatshirt, it just didn't happen. If they still have them this time around, I will probably pick one up.
Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: 1badapple on October 12, 2006, 12:29:36 PM how much was that silk wall hanging with the new logo going for?
Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: Christos AG on October 12, 2006, 12:41:19 PM I don't remember them having posters with the new logo on it.
Just a flag with it. I believe it costed 20 euros, or 30, not so sure. They had t-shirts, hoodies, baseball caps, lanyards, keyrings. The baseball cap is with the old logo by bravado. Bravado was responsible for their merchandise. I believe they have the rights for the past couple of years now, maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less. Not so sure about that. The lanyards and the keyrings were added during the last month I think, they were made by 1trade. They had the flag in Athens (July 10th) but no lanyards and keyrings, I bought them all from London. You can see these here: http://www.1trade.com/php/katalog.php?link1=On%20Tour&link2=-Guns%20n%20Roses I don't remember seeing the 11160 article, otherwise it would be in my collection. You can buy them here: http://www.closeup.de/Default.asp?language=en Search for GUNS N ROSES and they'll pop up. Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: kaasupoltin on October 12, 2006, 12:50:52 PM I didn't find a pic, but there was a poster with some new designs on it.. it was like white/beige and red.
Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: jarmo on October 12, 2006, 01:26:37 PM Didn't they have badges too? ???
/jarmo Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: .Seal on October 12, 2006, 01:46:33 PM Didn't they have badges too? ??? Yeah they had them at least in Helsinki on both gigs IIRC./jarmo @Christos, the flag was 30 euros here in Finland so I guess it was the same everywhere.. (my memory is full of useless stuff :P) Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: 1badapple on October 12, 2006, 01:51:18 PM so, isn't 30 euros equal to about 40 dollars US? I guess they can keep the flag, and i'll just get 2 shirts instead.
Didn't they have patches with the new logo? i got 2 of them shipped to me from someone that went to a few of the european shows. Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: Layne Staley's Sunglasses on October 12, 2006, 03:47:04 PM At Inland, the selection was CRAPPY! I thought there would be a good selection to choose from, because GN'r played tons of festivals in Europe, and there was a vast array of merch to choose from.
Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: JuicySwoos on October 12, 2006, 03:48:03 PM I can't wait to spend $50 bucks on a t-shirt....maybe I will spring for a jersey at $150 this time around. I like those key chains. I need more "new logo" stuff.
Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: Layne Staley's Sunglasses on October 12, 2006, 03:57:02 PM It's only 30 for a shirt and 80 for a jersey.
Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: Bandita on October 12, 2006, 04:02:28 PM It's only 30 for a shirt and 80 for a jersey.? Yea the mens T shirts are 30 dollars a piece with the womens running a little bit more. I would expect the merchandise to get a little better now since they actually have tour info to print on it instead of just saying North America 2006- Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: Christos AG on October 12, 2006, 04:04:11 PM Didn't they have badges too? ??? /jarmo Yeah, my bad. I can't remember everything, that's why you exist. A machine sent from the future to remember and remind us everything. Even stuff we don't want to remember. Thank God I didn't get drunk near you... :P Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: jarmo on October 12, 2006, 05:04:55 PM Thank God I didn't get drunk near you...? :P I'm also very grateful for that. I don't think you'll get drunk as long as you keep drinking water. : ok: I guess they didn't have much merch at the September shows because they weren't part of the big tour. /jarmo Title: Re: GNR's Souvenir Stands Post by: Layne Staley's Sunglasses on October 12, 2006, 05:06:11 PM Funny, because they had a lot more at The Joint and The Warfield. :-\
