Title: Arms Around a Memory - Tommy Stinson Post by: Cowboy Buddha on October 10, 2006, 10:10:00 PM Live cover of Johnny Thunders' "You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory." It's funny since Duff also covered this before. : ok:

I completely agree. Johnny opened for The Replacements back in the 80's, so Tommy Stinson knew him personally. I wonder if Duff ever got to meet him or knew him?? I only ask because he had such a fascination with Johnny Thunders and dedicated "So Fine" to him in the liner notes of UYI2 and we all know he performed this song on TSI. I'm glad Johnny Thunders is still getting respect from so many people because I think he was more important to music than a lot of people seem to realize.
