Just wondering if anybody here resembles a celeb, saw a thread on IMDb about it and the replies were interesting.

I don't get comments a lot about resemblances except for one celebrity, everybody always tells me I look like DiCaprio, I used to get it when I was like 12 and Titanic came out and I've gotten it a lot again recently now that he's in more movies. I started working at a grocery store a couple months ago (quit after two days) and this woman creeped me out because she said I could be a lookalike for him, she was freaky. When I worked at another grocery store this old man came through once and was making pervy comments about the girl who worked there (who I really, really had a crush on) and then told me I looked like Leonardo DiCaprio and that the girl and me would make a good couple, and that we should date.  :rofl: Most awkward moment in my life. (Almost.) Then someone once said I look like the lead singer of Smashing Pumpkins but I think it's just my eyes.

To be honest I don't like when people say you look like someone else. It's kinda like "No, I don't, I just look like ME!" But I guess sometimes it can be flattering.

Luckily I don't get it all that often, just once in a while. How about you guys, does anyone ever tell you that you look like a celebrity? How does it make you feel?

I have been told that I look like the French actress Emmanuelle Beart. A few people have also said that I look like I could be Axl Rose's sister. His Rapid Fire pictures look like my high school graduation picture.

Heh, I get the Axl thing as well... my ex said I have the same face as him, just... female. And last year at my first college my nickname was "Axl" or "AxlGirl", and the first person who came and talked to me said "damn are you Axl Rose's lovechild!?"

even though its almost 99.9% probable that its not true, that I AM my parents' kid, and that I'm NOT Axl's... even if I do look like him... and even though it'd kinda make sense... and even though I think that I'm perhaps coming up with excuses to quit being freaked out.... :nervous:

Why would they have even needed to fake it though? I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't have taken your mum nine months to get home to England after doing the sex with Axl. I'm sure he gave her a big enough tip to be able to treat herself to a first class ride home anyway.
