All these rumored dates with so few confirmed make me so nervous but I guess we'll know by the end of the week which dates to go for (depending on our location)

Well, I really think it'll be at the end of november through the beginning of December, because theres a little more than 2 weeks of nothing scheduled there yet...  So I'm really hoping that's when they'll be touring the midwest.

I'm hoping more for another show in Moline - like the last tour.  However, Chicago is only a couple hours away.  I'd definately accept that!

That would be great.  I'm from Chicago, but was attending the University of Iowa during the last tour so Moline was only an hour away.  I was very impressed with the 'Mark', it seemed very new, clean, and had pretty good acoustics for being a large indoor venue.  I would probably go to a Moline show over a Chicago show this time around too since the commute from all the traffic in Chicago would probably take me nearly as long to get to the quad cities.

As for midwest tour dates, it only seems logical that the gap at the end of November would be where these shows would fit in since that is where the tour is snaking towards around then.

The Mark is a fairly new building, as far as that goes.  It was built in 92, I believe.  Just before the massive flood.  I've seen alot of shows there, but I dont think it's all that great as far as sound goes.  Personally, I think the Aragon Ballroom sounds better than The Mark.  And the "Brawlroom" is one of the Chicago venues known for not having the greatest sound.

As far as the tour goes - I'd kill for Friday in Moline and Saturday in Chicago.  I was Front/Center at The Mark last time around - I think I can tolerate sitting upstairs and drinking a few beers this time around to save money.

My guess is that there's only gonna be about 3 shows in the midwest.  4 at the most...  One in the Miliwaukee, WI area, one in Minnesota, one in the Chicago, IL area, and maybe one in the Indianapolis, IN or St. Louis area.

I emailed the local rock station in Minneapolis, 93x, and asked about any possible dates for GNR.? They replied saying "They were looking at a date here but I don't think it's gonna happen now."? Take it for what its worth, but I am disappointed at the response....road trip to chicago in my future.

3 to 4 shows in the midwest?!  No way! They have already announced a Cleveland date, and there will at least be one more in Ohio and Michigan, let alone Milwaukee, Mineapolis, Chicago, etc.

So you think they're gonna play 6+ shows in 2 weeks?  They usually don't play shows every other day.  I'm not ruling it out, though....  : ok:

Yeah, Chicago needs to be added like NOW!!!  As far as venue, Rosemont/Allstate was pretty good for the last concert ('02), but what other venues could be options???  It would be cool to have one more in the city---Aragon or Riviera maybe (I haven't been to either, how are they)?  Could the United Center be an option?  Whats the best Chicago (city) venue as far as seating and sound in anyone's opinion??

Actually... so am I. I've lived so close to Chicago for sooo long but never been there for a concert. Almost went to see both Roger Waters and David Gilmour there, but never actually pulled the trigger.

I would actually do it for GN'R I think!

if the other shows are any indication it should be about 75 + fees for floor tickets.
