Title: Uk Travel Cost Post by: hebbesy on October 03, 2006, 07:16:28 AM Ok I have to admit the UK has gone price crazy, how can I get a bus from London to liverpool and back for ?3.00 would have been ?2.00 but i messed the booking up, now I need to get Ashford to London for cheaper than ?17.00 return to make it worth while.

But a train from Inverness to Aberdeen and back will cost 14.50? ??? Used to cost me a fiver to get from Birmingham New Street Station to the traffic lights......in New Street. Sometimes it can be cheaper to fly abroad than to take the train to the airport... I remember last summer we went to Birmingham and paid like ?10 for the two of us. If it wasn't for deals like that, we wouldn't have been able to go at all. /jarmo |
