but to the real question I dont think that they really friends but neither do they propably have anything against each other. Michael is good friends with Slash on the other hand.. IIRC Michael said this year that the new GN'R is a good band but they just havent got the attitude what made the old lineup that big or it was something along those lines. He also had a decent solo career.
