I think messages are personal and private and I don?t understand why people post them in forums.

What makes you think he "listens to Baz"? Isn't it obvious by now that Axl does what HE wants to do? I dont think he gives a fuck if you or Baz want to hear Oh My God. Axl will perform the song IF he wants to.

I agree. Its a total invasion of privacy. I have gotten a few messages from both Gilby and BBF in the past and never thought about posting those.

No offense Uzi, but I think if you want to message someone or a band member you don?t have to post it. That?s your business only. It?s cool that the guys read fans?messages but sometimes some people bother them with silly comments and bullshit and then come to the forums and post it. Again, no offense Uzi, I just put you as an exemple but I don?t mean to offend you. :-*

What exactly is so personal about him posting that he asked Baz to ask Axl to play a song?? Some of you people act like him and Baz had some deep convo about his life or something.

If some random person emails a band member about "band" things then there is NOTHING personal about that, and I dont see the problem in posting it.

Again, I just used Uzi as an exemple, I wasn?t attacking him or anything. I was referring that people in general tend to message Baz or GNR members and then post those messages in the forums. I respect your opinion but I think an email or message are private and even if the content isn?t anything special people shouldn?t post them, it?s just a matter of respect towards the other person. But hey, this is just MY opinion, not the universal truth or anything. You can agree or not, that?s all :)

Has Bach not said to Axl b4 or after they played My Michelle at a gig to play IRS, and Axl didn't play it?
Think it depends on Mr Roses mood what gets played! No one can influence it!

Cool if it works.  I wouldn't hold my breath though.  OMG is a good tune and the band would probably sound a lot tighter this time around if they cranked it out a few times.

 :peace:

I love the song. love both the soundtrack version with 21st century schizoid man-ish vocal
and the live one with energetic and groovy beats.

haven't heard that one but has Axl not said to the crowd before or after a song that Tommy/ the band requested the song many times?

Please, no OMG! Neither on the tour or the record.

I'm not sure if I'd like to see it on the album, seeing as it's "officially" 7 years old - But I'd love to see it back in the setlist.

At Newcastle, Baz requested IRS and Axl ignored him.

I agree. I don't hate the song or anything but there are other songs I would rather see them play.

Ignored the guy or just didn't play the song then for reasons?
Anyways he doesn't ignore the request of his bandmates. : ok:

I think it's okay (that means mediocre for being a GNR song) as studio but it sucks live.

More important than anything else. Don't title a thread 'OH MY GOD' in capital letters. Someone might accidently make the mistake of thinking it might be interesting an click on it. Im sorry to say I am a victim of this all too common crime.

I used to really, really dislike it. Over the years it's grown on me. I still hope it's not on the album since we already have it, but I'd like to see it come back to the set every so often.
