Title: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: nonlinear on September 30, 2006, 07:10:33 PM sure, he made a lot of rambling non-sensical posts, but he was a friendly guy who didn't start fights (even though everyone gave him shit), and i personally thought his posts were quite entertaining....

Friendly?? The dipshit made a very inappropriate remark about my dad(I had posted along time ago about his death). He offered nothing but nonsensical bullshit to this site. He should've been banned a long time ago.You want a good dose of axlroseven?? Go to cd.com. He's worshipped like a God there. Kudos to Jarmo for getting rid of him. Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: Genesis on September 30, 2006, 11:59:42 PM Good Riddance. He acts like a kid.
Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: Layne Staley's Sunglasses on October 01, 2006, 12:08:46 AM That guy was da biggest loser in da whole forum. Having 'ta read his posts made me feel sick.
He got what was comin' 'ta him. It's about damn time. He should have been banned when his glue sniffing addiction spiraled out of control last year. Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: Communist China on October 01, 2006, 12:24:44 AM Good Riddance. He acts like a kid. That's an insult to kids. Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: SLCPUNK on October 01, 2006, 12:48:10 AM I hope my thread is longer than this when I get banned.......................... ;D
Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: Bandita on October 01, 2006, 04:22:26 AM Wow, THANK YOU Jarmo for this. I can even tolerate stupid threads if they have some sort of redemption. But stupid threads where I can't even understand what the person is typing about is just nonsense.
Big Kudos! : ok: Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: jazjme on October 01, 2006, 04:34:48 AM OH I can also say, thank god. Some of the stuff he was , and has for so long been posting was just complee nonsence!
Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: jimmythegent on October 01, 2006, 05:34:27 AM thats not cool that he said something bad about your dad james
I still thought he offered something wacky, surreal and at times kind of fun to the board? The board needs diversity I reckon :-\ Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: jameslofton29 on October 01, 2006, 05:52:49 AM thats not cool that he said something bad about your dad james I see what you mean. I remember last year when he started posting quite a bit, how quirky some of those posts were. Strange but amusing. But he just went overboard. It got out of control when cd.com had an interview with him as news on their front page(2005 was a VERY inactive GNR year ) and treated him like a God. Thats when he got a big head and thought everything he said was cool(whether insulting or not), when in fact his act had gotten really old and tiresome. It had reacfhed a point where he was just basically cluttering up the forum. Essentially spam. While I dont think he had commited what would normally be considered a "bannable" offense(although I could be wrong), I understand why Jarmo would want him removed from HTGTH.I still thought he offered something wacky, surreal and at times kind of fun to the board? The board needs diversity I reckon :-\ Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: jimmythegent on October 01, 2006, 05:57:49 AM yeah, he was definitley over-doing it a tad - it was better when he just randomly popped up from time to time :hihi:

Don't like it? You know the way out... On the other hand, yes, Jarmo did go too far. He should have banned him a lot earlier. Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: Evolution on October 01, 2006, 08:53:49 AM If you knew that he sometimes didn't use the exact words he should have, and used a lot of his Child Psychology studies in some of his observations about Axl, his threads made a lot more sense. Basically with his posts, you needed some guess work to see his points.

Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: Evolution on October 01, 2006, 10:08:25 AM Maybe I should have helped out with that! After speaking to him a few times on MSN, and asking him what he meant here and there, I found his posts a lot easier to understand and "translate".
He had some pretty interesting theories, perhaps if he put them across in a different way he wouldn't be banned. Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: Communist China on October 01, 2006, 11:30:51 AM ^ Well he didn't and he is.

Basically with his posts, you needed some guess work to see his points. What we needed for his posts was someone to decrypt what he was talking about. Is it possible he was just mentally handicapped? There's a guy who comes in to where I work...he came in today...he isn't really handicapped/retarded but he must have some screws loose...he shouts, yells, gets excited over weird things. He asked me to give him my autograph and then he went and grabbed three of our audio CD Bibles and opened them in the store to preview them, and he didn't understand the concept of buying what you open. Maybe AxlRoseVen was just a really excitable retarded GN'R fan? And I'm not trying to be smart here, I'm being serious. I don't remember his posts so I don't know, but sounds like he might have been a bit screwy. Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: mdttkk on October 07, 2006, 04:19:51 AM i remember he started talking like a normal person on the forum after jarmo warned him, which really made my day cuz his "gangsta typing" was really pissing me off. u know i cant really remember why he even got banned after that but i can honestly say i dont mind not seeing him again.
Title: Re: Jarmo, was it really necessary to ban AxlRoseVen???? Post by: gun on October 07, 2006, 09:27:59 AM Jarmo had two choices....ban him or buy some Preperation H. Banning him was easier and cheaper. ;D
