Just got back from a week vacation and was wondering if GNR have released any news concerning a Minneapolis/St. Paul show? I really hope they come because I missed them in 2002 due to work.

axl released a press release earlier saying that bc you missed the last minnesota show they have refused to play there ever again.  Sorry man...

I can't believe that it is on Dec 2!  That is the only day of the tour that I won't be able to make it (have to go to a wedding).  I guess I'll be making a trip to Ames or Milwaukee.

UNless the wedding is out of town you could easily do both, by the time Axl hits the stage the reception should be over or everyone will be so liquored up they won't notice you slipping out.

I am djing the wedding.  I will be the 1st one there and the last one to leave.  There is no way I can make it unless Guns hit the stage around 1 am, which is possible.

I just wish it was at Xcel... the sound is SOOOOOOOO much BETTER!!!!! :beer: This will be at least my 4th time seeing GNR!!!! Maybe my 5th if I go to Wisconsin!!!! :peace:

Xcel would be a pain for me to get to, I don't know the routes out there, ain't been over there yet. TC is the easiest for me, walk out my front door, n' hop on the 18 for about an hour (From Bloomington, 98th street) down to the Nicollet Mall n' walk over two blocks n' I'm there. ^_^

It will be a great show either way, but trust me the experience would be that much better at Xcel. Not a bad seat in that place.

I've heard nothin' but good about the XEC. Might be worth a trip out there.

we should set up a get together before the show, maybe the night before or something. my sister and i are going for sure (she lives in farmington) and axlrosegnr is also flying in from vegas. would anyone be interested in getting together for some celebration that weekend?

also, i would love to get out to the chicago or wisc show, but i'm debating if i should go to the winnepeg instead...anyone in for a car pool?  :peace:

I went to the first hammerstein show in NY, knowing that my life would be changing soon. I had found out a month earlier that my wife was pregnany with our first child. The due date? Dec. 2.
Yes, we live in MPLS. It can't get any more ironic than that. And it's a boy.
We're planning on naming in Dylan, but if he is born on Dec. 2nd, I'll push to name him AXL!

It freaks me out a little that the Minn. show isn't listed on gunsnroses.com.  But I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

I saw that too.  Maybe they are just listing the dates that are having pre-sales at this time?

I'm sure the Minneapolis dates will be listed soon.....but I"d sure love to hear about a pre-sale for this one!

Fuck yeah.  I missed in them in '02, but if it's at the Target Center, we should do the preparty at my office... it's right by the Target Center, we have parking, the building was just renovated, and we have a full bar as well as a full space for a band.   : ok:

Now that my friend sounds like a bad ass spot for a party.

Im for sure down to pre-party! just let me know the time and place. One good thing about it being at the Target center over Xcel is the options for a preparty spot. WHOO!!! :peace:

I'm thinking of hitting the Ames, IA show as well, only  a couple hours south, much quicker to get to from the Twins Cities than Milwaukee or Chicago.
