Title: Floor Seats for GNR? Post by: gnrgnr06 on September 28, 2006, 08:47:58 PM Im going to a GNR concert and will probably get floor tickets. Do you think a 10 year old would be fine because I assume were going to be packed like sardines and he wants to go badly but I not sure if he should. And one more thing what is general admission(GA)?
Title: Re: Floor Seats for GNR? Post by: kyrie on September 28, 2006, 08:50:13 PM Is he a tough 10 year old? I'd probably just get seats... GA is general admission, meaning there's no reserved area, it's just an open floor. So maybe get a seat for him in the stands.
Title: Re: Floor Seats for GNR? Post by: XxWickeds10xX on September 28, 2006, 08:50:27 PM GA is genral admission...no assigned seat....usually standing. I was at the Hammerstein and seen a guy with a young kid...not sure how old, but he was youg. The kid didnt look like he was having a good time....it was very loud, he couldnt see over most people, and was getting shoved around most of the time.

Do you think a 10 year old would be fine because I assume were going to be packed like sardines and he wants to go badly but I not sure if he should. And one more thing what is general admission(GA)? I also wanted floor seats for Arco, but I'm taking my 14 year old cousin to the show, and I didnt want her around the chaos that usually occurs on the floor. So I settled for lower level instead. Its just a judgement call. If you want the kid to be subjected to some of the shit that happens, thats your decision. :beer:Title: Re: Floor Seats for GNR? Post by: Axl4Prez2004 on September 28, 2006, 08:53:17 PM I'd recommend enjoying the show from a 1st or 2nd level seat. ?He'll get a nice view and it isn't like he'll be sitting at any time during the show anyways! ?
enjoy. ? Title: Re: Floor Seats for GNR? Post by: Bono on September 28, 2006, 08:53:22 PM No way. Go for seats. You want the kid to remember it as a god time not a scary time. : ok:
Title: Re: Floor Seats for GNR? Post by: Throatrake on September 28, 2006, 08:56:41 PM I agree with getting seats. The floor can be a mess. Bunch of hooligans out there.

Me too EFISH I'm in basically the same boat. I'm 15, and am taking my 14 year old brother.. but he is pretty small, and not mature or anything, though he does love Guns. But, yeah... we'll be on the floor. :) Title: Re: Floor Seats for GNR? Post by: Bostonrose on September 28, 2006, 09:06:49 PM Im going to a GNR concert and will probably get floor tickets. I am 26, and have seen Guns N Roses 4 times, the last time I saw them was in New York You have to be aware of mosh pits which will break out save yourself the trouble get seats Title: Re: Floor Seats for GNR? Post by: axlsalinger on September 28, 2006, 09:24:21 PM Most people seem to be suggesting seats, and it is a decent recommendation, but one thing about GA to keep in mind is that there is always, ALWAYS room at the back. The front area near the stage is crowded as hell, but the crowd always thins out the further back you go, and there is always space at the back. Even at the Hammerstein, but especially in a hockey arena. They don't sell so many floors that the entire area is packed. So you can move around to a comfy spot. It's nice to have that freedom, but it's also nice to have a seat.
