Post by: Bono on September 28, 2006, 07:50:17 PM I know this is likely impossible but what about banning people who register and then their very first post is one requesting the passwords and shit. I have no doubt in my mind that alot of these people are scalpers. I know it'd be pretty hard to ban people for that cause there's no way of knowing but people registering within the last few days and only posting in the presale threads and stuff really makes me curious and a bit mad as a well. I'm just venting I guess but wanted some response and opinions. Wasn't sure where else to put this. ???

Doesnt Jarmo put a "you must be registered for 1 week" requirement on the presales though? Thats a good idea, as long as it is enforced, because the pre-sales are announced less than a week before the sale so it avoids scalpers. It wont be 100 percent effective, and scalpers will always get to tickets, but it's the best we can do, I guess..... Title: Re: banning people.....
