PAPA ROACH, SEBASTIAN BACH To Open For GUNS N' ROSES In Tampa - Sep. 27, 2006?
PAPA ROACH and former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach have been confirmed as the support acts for GUNS N' ROSES' October 25 concert at St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida. As previously reported, PAPA ROACH will be also be opening for GUNS N' ROSES on October 22 Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, Tennesse. It is not presently clear if PAPA ROACH will provide support at any of the other dates on GUNS N' ROSES' North American tour.?
 
I think Baz is deserving of the middle spot on the tour, not the opening one but time will tell I guess.

God, I hope so....Baz I will show up to see!

This would almost make up for the shittiness of Papa Roach being on the bill. Those people who make lame 80's jokes when it comes to Baz have obviously not seen him lately. The guy was on Broadway fairly recently as well. Bring on Baz for the whole tour, and please give him a good 45 minute set.

Bach posted this to his MySpace as a bulletin earlier today.


He didn't say whether it's about GN'R, but in the "mood" box under his blog he put "giddy" (and we know how damn giddy he gets every time Axl Rose is mentioned  :hihi:) and someone asked him if it's about GN'R and there was no response, so there's a possibility.

Considering the fact that Bach has been touring with GN'R and Merck said full dates would soon be announced, well...maybe we should tune int to Celebrity Duets this Thursday night.  :yes:

I doubt it will be about Gn'R. Bach is performing on that show that night. he's gonna do 18 and Life with some "celebrity" I guess it could be an announcement that he's gonan tour with Gn'R. I highly doubt any big Gn'R announcement is gonna come on a ?show like "celebrity duets"

O.k. so it was somewhat Gn'R related. More to do with Bach though. Anyone else find this extremely cheesy that Gn'R tour promotion is happening on "celebrity duets"

bit stange indeed, but who the hell knows, I swaer, I said back in 2002, that this album is gonna come out on amoments notice, lol, and just like the way tour dates are giving out, I wouldnt be adamn bit surpirsed by anything, not even hearing tomorrow that CD will be out in 1 week, seriously.

Wouldn't it be really amazing/terrible if Axl Rose is a guest celebrity on the show, does a duet with Bach and then they announce a full US tour?

Oh yeah, and Axl would say, "ROUND TWO!!11!!!"  :hihi:

You never know in the GN'R world what is going to happen next.

I hope we get Bach instead of Poopie Roach.... Baz is so much more appropriate for GNR and they all get along.  It'd make for a great tour  :peace:

Maybe Axl and Baz will do their duet of My Michelle on the show? Axl should get Damnocracy or Savage Animal to open up for Gnr.

If anything I would imagine Baz will be on with someone else and will mention that he's touring with GNR. If Axl shows up, I'll....well, I was going to say cut off my right nut, but Axl's an unpredictable guy... :nervous:

But that's the thing, for people who aren't in the know, having Bach open makes the tour seem too 80's and not current enough. To the passerby, seeing a poster that says "Guns and Roses and Sebastian bach" they're going to laugh. And while GNR I'm show care about their fans who may want to see Bach open, sometimes PR plays a huge part too, and they need to think about their image. That's the game

I've seen him twice recently... I still make the lame 80's jokes, because I still believe he is the epitome of everything that was bad about music in the 80's.  He can work a crowd, but other than that he's a talentless poser.

Not sure if this has been suggested...but perhaps Celebrity Duets is doing a tour with select celebrities and artists. That would make the most sense if it's a tour announcement during the actual show. Why would they give Baz the spotlight to disclose plans for a GN'R tour?

Then again, I don't know anyone who really watches this show and after seeing a few performances on the first show myself I can say that it's truly crap. I can't see a tour for this show doing very well.

It must be a show related tour announcement.  As SINSHINE said, what show would allow an announcement that they weren't directly profiting from?

So let me get this straight ..

baz is performing on fox at 9 pm , then immediately following his performance he is making a tour announcement.


Once again Merc.....where is a official Axl Rose press release regarding the future of his career.Hopefully this doesn't amount to another 3 rd source announcement that this board is coming acustom to.

Although I think his announcement is GNR related, just keep in mind that this is all just us guessing. Who knows, he could very well be going on tour by himself. Who knows.

You never know with Baz, as he is a little out there and is easily excited.

I actually agree - Baz has great stage presence and is definitely beneficial to GN'R right now because he is able to really get the crowd going in a way Axl isn't doing for some reason, but in terms of talent I have never really liked his singing and I think he does in many ways kind of represent the typical hair metal '80s rock figure.

Speaking of Celebrity Duets, I was channel surfing and it was on, so I stopped and whatched it.  Anybody remeber Lucy Lawless? Xena princess warrior.  She's on there and looks totally different, unrecognizable in fact, she looks like Jenna Jameson (sp?).
