My sister just called me,a friend at her work was watching the news,and they said something about Guns coming to Nashville. I have no clue if it is true or not,can't find anything on the wkrn.com website,but i hope it is true. also looked at ticketmaster,no dates for Nashville there either.......Yet. I don't think they would book a show in Memphis this go around, if they are playing Nashville. ?I think, they should do Atlanta, and that is it for the Southeast. ?They will be overbooked, if they add multiple dates in the region. ? I think the next round of dates will be upper Midwest and NE (Chicago, Philly, NY). ?I really think they should avoid overbooking right now in the States.

I've been wondering where they're heading. Being that they're playing a few shows in Cali & Vegas out West, I'm thinking they might come up the East Coast, then venture West. Unles they tour the South, head West, then venture back East. We should find out soon w/ dates being announced every day, we'll see where the next couple are.

Well, they are already overbooked in Florida. :-\

The Gaylord Entertainment Center is where this year's CMA (country) awards show is being held - just for the record. Funny name though  :yes:

It's a great venue!  I have always known it as Nashville Arena.

Theyre getting close to the edge. :nervous: Way too many shows in Cali, specifically central Cali. Sac, Fresno, and Bakersfield all in a 200 mile radius. None of these shows are selling out. Sacramento is an obvious place for a band to play, but either Fresno or Bakersfield should have been left off their plans(no offense to the people of those cities). Now it looks like theyre gonna do the same in Florida. If they are gonna play that many shows in most states, how long is the US tour gonna last? Fortus said December, but maybe those plans have changed. Doing 4 to 5 shows a state will take the US tour in to 2007.

yeah all these dates in cali and florida make me think that they won't be able to hit canada and the northern states until the new year at the earliest :'( :-\

Although they are somewhat destination places.. Florida - Nice weather, same with Southern Cali.. Vegas, well, is Vegas. I'm hoping that is why they are loading up in Florida, hoping people travel down just to see them asap, and take a few days off. I sure hope they're not planning on playing 4-5 shows per state.  Not yet at least.

God I hope so.  I'm practicing my recording skills at the Aerosmith concert on the 23rd... so that'll be my warm up gig for when they get here.   :hihi:

Yeah these sparatic dates are pissing me off.  Well at least they are playing.

No offense taken...Actually I already have said it was a mistake to play both these venues....Most BIG name acts, usually
are now skipping Bakersfield (seats 8,000) and just coming to SaveMart (Seats over 15,000 I believe)....Some smaller
bands do Bakersfield.

Fresno sales are really low from what I can tell....I believe most of their lower level seating is PSL (private seat license),
meaning that the tickets automatically belong to the owner of the PSL....My friend had access to 4 of these PSL GNR seats.
He said he offered them to everyone in his company, and nobody wanted them..So he took 2 of them...Expect most
of the lower level seating to be empty at show time.

The biggest mistakes though, are not announcing an opening band, no single, no promo....The opening band is
gonna need to be huge.

That's a good point, true too. So, should by this logic shouldn't we be hearing a single around mid-October, if not sooner??

This stuff about the tour starting in late Oct is bullshit. It starts this weekend. You don't have warm up shows in full size arenas in California! :hihi: :rofl: They are going down a path of destruction if something doesn't happen quick! >:( I have a bad feeling some of these shows may be cancelled.

I just heard an ad on the radio here in Nashville...I can't believe on of the first dates announced after the West Coast tour is in the city I live...amazing.? Didn't catch all the ad because I had a carload of people with me...have no idea if they played snippets of any news songs (a la Boston of 2002).  I would expect that several other southern cities will follow...Atlanta, Charlotte, etc.? I seriously doubt Nashville would be the only date outside of Florida.

Excellent point. Us die hards would go even if Bill Cosby doing nothing but farting was the opening act, but casual fans are a little different. I'm taking my younger cousin to Arco, and she keeps asking me who the opening band will be. I keep telling her that if she's gonna be a GNR fan, she has to learn how to wait. :rofl: I agree that there is definitely a sense of urgency to the situation. Promotion needs to start soon, and the promotion needs to start with a release date. Hell, even another leak might do it. Just create enough of a buzz to sell out these shows.

This is partly why it would make sooooo much sense to get a release date or single out by Inland Invasion, and use the gap before the tour starts to pomote the single/album/tour.

It's gotta happen - This is the most obvious opportunity so far for something to finally happen... *fingers crossed*

On that Pre-sale page it says you are not guaranteed a ticket by filling out the form. Who decides on who gets tix or not, and why? What is the criteria must one meet to get tix?

Holy fuck I can't believe they'll be in Nashville. I live less than 90 minutes away (in Kentucky)!!!!!! :)

My sister is in Nashville, this morning she asked me to try and find a presale password so she can get good tickets.  (She's not too internet savvy, so she called upon me to help)  Now, I read the rules and realize that I'm apparently not eligible for the presale because I just registered here today, but is there any way that I can get her a password?

To be honest, I don't really listen to any GnR albums beyond "Use Your Illusion 1/2".  In fact, the last time I saw them, they were on tour with Metallica.  But, I did help her jump a fence to some backstage thing so she could see the band face to face.  She even got to say hi to Slash :smoking: (right before we were kicked out)!  But anyway, she's a lifelong fan.  Here are her exact words:

"I think it <the presale password> is being handed out by the GNR fanclub to pre-existing members. I know it is shocking to think that I am not a member of this club but after I got hosed when Axl canceled his stop in DC in 2002, I stopped caring. Those wounds have healed.  Help a sister out."

Can anyone help me help her?  I'd be happy to give a phone call or something to verify I have no intention of scalping tickets...

I'm about to buy tickets for the Tennesse show...it does not show where the most expensive tickets are in the arena? Are the $72.50 seats general admission or are they in the stands some where?  Just trying to figure out where the 32.50 tickets are and the 72.50 tickets are, I just don't want to get screwed if I'm paying that much money for a seat.  Someone please tell me soon, I'm waking up in 8 hours to buy these tickets!!!

call ticketmaster @ 615-255-9600   i will be doing so in the morning.  :smoking: floor is general admission,no seats. it is # 29 map on ticketmaster.also was told from the radio station that it is basically a hockey ring cause that is where the Nashville Predators play.

But is the floor the high dollar tickets??  The thing with buying them offline is you can't pick your seats...so if I buy the 72.50 tickets am I guaranteed to be on the floor?  Just trying to match up the ticket prices with what seats I'll be getting.....thanks again

Buy one in both. Switch off tickets at the venue with a friend to see different views (or better yet have both tickets for yourself {So not a granola mama,}) . Be mobile see the whole place. ?Don't get trapped by hierarchy (levels).

Single tickets will be better seats, especially if you have trouble getting through initially ...end of row seats, high in a lower section and floor seats obviously just grab them if you can. Look up the venue if you can (phone book, Internet) in advance. ?Pick your section numbers in advance. Switch them out if they aren?t happening before you purchase.

If you are phoning or at the box office ask the agent can see the venue Have the number in front of you and be signed in the Web site prior to when the tickets go on sale There will be a map you could look tonight, at ticketmaster, you could call tonight. Print or save Map to desktop. If you are there in person chill out it will all work out. Stress is the mind kill. (Actually it's fear but thats another story). Leave yourself plenty of time to run through it once.,..before they go on sale (unless your at the Box Office obviously).

Appreciate the advice man....but if your ordering off the internet, the only option you can pick is "best available" right?  Now if you look at the map on ticketmaster it says look at #29...but doesn't tell you where the floor is or how much the floor tickets will be?  I guess we'll find out in the morning right?  man so many questions, SO LITTLE TIME!

Whole lotta worrying over nothing dude. No way are tickets selling THAT fast! I would say the most expensive tix would be the Gen Ad ones. And every time I have bought tix the drop down menu lets u pick the floor if thats what you want ( it will say GenADFLR, or something like that) Only us hardcore gunners are going to be doing this tomorrow. The general public had no clue about this tour thanks to the great Guns PR machine ::)

the radio station here in town was giving away tickets yesterday (102.9 the buzz) their tickets are in section 102 according to the djs.and No i dodn't win any dammit.LoL i tried though. :smoking: maybe they will have another give away closer to the concert.

I'd recommend GA seating, but go for the $72 seats. If you get row A of the red seats, you're obviously front row. That's what I'm shooting for, and yes, I'll be there ;)

I can not get my tickets yet presale starts now and it still says not for sale when I use my link for the presale :nervous: anyone else having this problem? Oh this sucks I set my fucking alarm to wake up to do this.

D, that's why I was hesitant to buy floor/GA this time around.  I went with the closest seats possible, row AA section 106.  From what the map is showing me, these are 1st row seats!!!!

Yep I went with reserved seating because I dont want to have to be there hours in advance to get next to the stage. I got 4th row in Sec. 114.

I'm trying to figure out if AA is the first row or the row behind Z?  It says on ticketmaster that AA is first row, but would sec 106 row AA be right next to the stage, 1st row?

Thanks to the people who helped everyone so far get advance tickets to these shows. I was sitting there thinking who would like to see GNR that I have not thought of and my mother came to mind. Sounds stupid but I do not get to spend much time with her anymore and when I called her at her work to see what she was doing and then asked her if she would like to go with me to nashville she got realy excited and said yes she would love to go to Nashville to see them so my date for this show is now my mother. :beer: A family event 8)

Yeah, I'm sure there'll still be plenty of good seats tomorrow. They would hold some good seats for the public. They wouldn't sell all of them for pre-sale. Don't fret though: I've been in several different seats/sections of the arena and I've yet to really find a bad seat. Inside, it actually seems smaller than it really is, it doesn't feel like a big arena...

Lets plan a pre concert get together.

Especially those with General Admission so we can try to rush the stage and keep each other safe. : ok:

I ordered tix for the Nashville show during the presale.  But I went to Ticketmasters site today to see what was available.  I was shocked that floor as well as lower level seats are still available.  This show is only a little over 3 weeks away.  That is disturbing.
