that is that end of northamerica so far....the new band has never played more than 2 nights in a row so i can't see all of edmonton, saskatchewan and a vancouver being played looks like only one and it'll prolly be vancouver :-\

Theres still a gap of dates from Nov. 24th - December 4th to fill....Which i'm hopin is Minneapolis or Fargo, cause i'll fly to those shows from Vegas (i'm originally from up there) :) So i got my fingers crossed.

from what ticketmaster says floor seating is general admission which i think means as long as u get floor tickets u can be placed anywhere depending on how early u arrive.  correct me if im wrong

O.k. O.k. so I bitched about it last night and I have been proven wrong. I can honetsly say it feels so good to be wrong.  This is very awesome that the band has decided to make both stops in Alberta and  they even threw in Winnipeg.  Awesome move by the band. I feel like I'm being rewarded for driving all the way to Vancouver in 2002 and flying to New York in   May. December is looking mighty fine. Two shows here I come!!! 8)  Thanks AXL!

 Yes General Addmission is $79 which is on the floor with no chairs. It is first come first serve. The only shitty part about GA is you have to wait in line a long time and then you have to stand on the floor for another few hours until the band comes out. I've been at GA and in seats. If you get seats that right at the corner of the stage you got it made as you don't have to get there early and you got great seats and awesome view. We really need to organize a pre-part for this one!! Maybe Morgans for those of you who are familar with Calgary? Let me know

That would be cool : ok: I don't now all the pubs in Calgary but the people I'll be with live there so... yeah General Admison sucks for waiting, especially in December. I don't want to be on the floor for this. I want lower bowl seats beside the stage or just out to he front.

For GA, it's going to be slippery and slushy (from the snow) all over the floor. Somebody dropped the ball on this one.

okay, how do we do presale? on ticketmaster it says presale friday...or is there any way to get tix first thru the forum here? i haven't been paying attentuion to that aspect...

Fuck that! The only place to meet in Calgary to see GNR is the Back Alley! Cheap booze, loose women, smoky, loud and just a hint of vomit..

Can you think of any place that would suit GNR better in Cowtropolis?

 Back Alley sounds good to me!! The only spot I can think of that would better suit GNR would be the Gravity Lounge just off of 4th street but that crack house got shut down a couple of months ago!!

We don't have to recruit people.  I had 7 messages on my phone when I got home from work form people wanting to tell me(mostly because they know I'ma  fan) about it and wanting to know how many tickets I'm getting.  :rofl:

As for the pre-party i doubt I'd go to one in Calgary. I plan on taking the Thursday and Friday off so i'd have to work Wednesday sowouldn't have much time for a preparty but the Back Alley seems to be the right choice in my mind. I ownder where the preparty would be in Edmonton.  I wonder if Union Hall would host the after party like they did for Motley Crue.

i would love to go to an afterparty but i just dont think thats gonna happen on a thursday night, a lot of the guys i know either work or are in university/college. 

glad for the edmonton fans :beer: but sad for BC fans :'( but maybe they'll sqeeze one in there for ya's unless they aren't allowed to play BC anymore :-\

i did not get a pre sale password just like in 2002 vancouver i always get fucked when i try and see guns now i guess i have to get shitty seats for edmonton because i did not get the pre sale like any great fan should fuck :rant: :rant:

So to get in on the presale you have to be on some lame radio station's mailing list? Seems kind of shitty for the people who are actual fans of the band.
