all webcasts that kroq.com blueroom/at&t are outstanding webcasts...really one of the better wecsts that youll see...I usually watch all the webcasts that kroq.com offers...and yes you can watch anywhere in the world...i live in germany, have watched webcasts there, im from the u.s and have watched them from there as well...i doubt gn'r will go on after 11pm...cali although a cool place is weird on concerts....most of them have to be done by midnight(yes im from cali, i grew up in L.A and have been to several concerts, not one of them ever ended after 1am)

What's weird is that when RIR5 was broadcast online, US users weren't allowed to watch it until a few hours afterwards for some reason. Somehow, though, I got to watch it as it was happening. I think a few people got lucky.

It is possible but it depends on your videocard. There must be a tv-out connector (small circle with 6 or 8 pins) next to one or two connectors for svga or lcd/ tft monitors. The cable has to be connected through scart or svhs. When everything's connected, choose dual screen in your monitor settings and set windows media player to full screen on the big display. Have fun.

i have everything except for the connector wire ( i see the wire jacks on my computer and tv, just no wire) are there any other ways? have any ideas of any wires in the house i could steal for the night or do i have to go out and buy one?

If you have a modded Xbox with Xbox Media Center you can play the streaming file on it and watch it on your TV. That's what I plan to do tonight. Anyone know what the URL will be to the actual stream yet?

Seems like you have to go out and get one. Make sure you have the right ammount of pins on the end that goes into the videocard, otherwise it won't fit. (duhuh :) )

The other end that goes into the tv is another story. There are 2 ways. One is through svideo, same as on the videocard, but there's a possibility it will turn out black and white. It has to do with pal vs ntscm or something.

Second is through a switch. It can hold three pins (same as with a camcorder yellow and red) that's connected at the scart on your tv. Switch it to tv-in. All set. (Sound has to go through your pc though. Or hook it up to your stereo through mini jack.)

If you're in the US, an S-video cable is the way to go and is only a few bucks at radioshack...Used it for RIR.
After connecting it to your card, hook it up to your TV.  Restart PC.
Go into the advanced property settings of your card and enable the secondary "monitor."  Go to overlay settings and select theater mode..You can tweak further from there.  For an ATI card, these are the settings, but I'm sure others are similar.

Finker needs to listen and learn. Fortus is a master guitar player. His tone and technicality are incredible...and he is very fast when he wants to be, he can shred but also play with feeling and emotion.

All kidding aside Finck shouldn't even be in this band. I know some like him, but his guitar is not even in tune, and if it is his pitch is so bad he should be playing in a local bar. His tone is terrible too...

The new material showcases axl present vocals far better for obvious reasons, hope we get a few more flrom cd, and nightrain has been good on this tour so far. Having watched Richard for the last 5 minutes should make the Finck fan club subscribers realize why people slag on him. It is pretty clear watching the 2 of them who is the superior player, and who is held back because he lacks the seniority status of other guitarists.

Robin is probably a better song writer than Richard.

Finck and Fortus both kick ass, they just have different qualities.

And Izzy was a much better song writer than Slash, yet the band managed to make sure the more talented player (not song writer) was the lead guitarist. What a novel concept. Finck should be nothing more than a rythm player like Izzy was that contributes in the studio, as it is pretty obvious he looks out of his league next to Richard and Bumble after what we have seen.

Started about 45-60 mins late, no setlist surprises. Blues is the only new song played so far.

This has been a rather odd setlist. I mean we're hearing the songs that have been there, but in a different order.

They already did all the songs really... Besides they will end with Patience, Nightrain & Paradise... So, we got a good half hour of new/not often played stuff such as Chinese Democracy, TWAT, Madagascar, IRS, Better, Used to Love her & Rocket Queen and if we're really lucky, Rhiad and the Bedouins...
